I agree with Adam. For $1,000, you should not expect any scratches or cracks. Having worked at a carrier, I can honestly say that a $100 ZTE prepaid phone is more durable than an iPhone (which is insane). The screen never scratches, and you can drop the thing 100 times and the screen won’t crack. 

A college is a service. You pay money, you get a degree if you can pass the classes. That’s the extent of it. The notion that you somehow owe them *more* money because you became successful is nonsense.

I did listen in good faith, and I did gain an understanding. I was also completely vindicated in my line of thinking.  It took a year for people to get to where I was on day 1.  

That’s a fair statement, but he went very, very, very far out of his way to end up in that situation. This isn’t like he was living every day life. He went to a banned country. He stole when he got there. He was studying abroad and he knew what could happen to him.

People in New York are not normally killed over selling loosies. People are detained and held hostage in North Korea all the time. I don’t see the association.

There’s also video.  He also said he was stealing it as dare from the people back home.  The video is grainy and bad, and it may not be him, but it’s not a slam dunk that he was falsely accused. 

Are you trolling? He was a smart, college aged kid who circumvented American law to go to a country that is banned for Americans. He pleaded guilty to stealing the sign. Going to a hostile country known for taking hostages and stealing a souvenir while there is way beyond youthful indiscretion like drinking underage.

Am I the only one who blames Otto Warmbier?  He wasn't kidnapped.  He voluntarily went to a place these things are known to happen.

It is John Stankey, and he ruins everything he touches. He ruined the Mobility business in the DTV merger, and he somehow failed upwards. He is a glorified hatchet man. If you continue on your journey, you won’t be with the church much longer. Either they will excommunicate you, or you will leave when you finally realize what the church really is.

I’m pretty much intolerant to stupidity, and I am not nice about calling it out when I see it. I’m equal opportunity with it, so what I’ve learned is simply pointing out the stupidity of a white man as a Black person can get you called a racist.
