@Arken: It's a bonus that can get you into college, especially if you can't afford it and need a scholarship. And there are women from my high school that were able to go to a really good college they normally wouldn't have been able to afford due to their sports scholarships.

@Arken: I know what you mean, but I still wouldn't hate on sports teams to get there. Those things are very important to some students and can change their lives.
