"To determine a "winner" in this contest before a console has even been sold would be crazy."

The discussion started from ToxicBunnies saying that the game wasn't "fundamentally bad," and so I think people were saying that the glitches may have been a problem for some people but they weren't something that made the game "fundamentally bad." Maybe they were though; I never had problems with them, but maybe I

The crazy thing is, this would have been a huge deal had Microsoft not gone crazy with the Xbox One and all it's DRM. I know before the XBO was announced, when the rumors about this started, I thought it might make a big difference as to what console I would buy.

Yeah, I was coincidentally just watching Inglorious Basterds, and they really do have a nice sense of style. You just generally don't notice because the more important reaction is usually "Nazis! Kill them!"

Maybe that's a sign that the joke wasn't clear. :)

Nothing personal, but I hate that people have that mentality. I love color, and color doesn't look immature when it's used well. Look at the colored PS3 controllers; they don't look obnoxious or immature at all.

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it elsewhere, until I saw the picture used as the main image here. I think the angled look sets it apart from the One nicely, and makes it look much better. In some pictures it comes across much more sharply than others though, so maybe it'll look different in person.

It's normally "master of none," but there are some interesting variations in the wikipedia article that go along with what you said, like what Maveritchell said.

I actually think that commemorative marking is kind of ugly. But then again, I almost always hate text printed on my controllers/phones/etc.

Well, they've already said that the game is in development for next-generation consoles, so it could be possible that we'll hear more about it now that next-generation consoles are coming out.

Is that bug exclusive to the PC version or something? I followed a lot of the stuff on Dragon Age 2 and I never experienced it in multiple playthroughs or even heard about it. There were some serious issues with Dragon Age 2, but bugs weren't an issue that I had, and I preordered the game and played it at launch. I

I hate that the Nazis more or less ruined armbands. Armbands would be cool (imo) if they weren't, uh, you know, associated with evil...

I'm kind of hopeful, because I'm thinking right now it will be something along the lines of Orcs Must Die!—a tower defense/shooter hybrid. The idea of a Plants v. Zombies game like that has me so excited now that I'll be a bit disappointed if it is anything else.

Considering all that stuff about emotional character development and blah blah, I'm going to bet there is some kind of single-player mode, whatever the game is.

You know what would be awesome? If it was a PvZ/Shooter hybrid, in the vein of Orcs Must Die! I would buy that in a heartbeat.

What's so wrong with single player, linear gameplay? People always throw that term around like it's an insult, but there's nothing wrong with it. The pre-Mario 64 Super Mario Bros. games are pretty much linear, except some pathways that allow you to skip worlds. Some games are linear and some games are more open; it's

Thanks for responding!

So I love these posts and would like to keep up-to-date on more time-sensitive deals, but I don't use Twitter. Is there another way?

Ok, if you choose not to buy the Xbox One, that's totally fine. That's a rational choice and I have no interest in convincing you otherwise. I agree that, on a moral level, a lot of Microsoft's decisions with this console are anti-consumer. But do I have some kind of moral obligation to protest a console because it

Psh, there was tons of choice when the PS3 and 360 came out! I had a huge backlog of PS2 games that I played until a few years into the Xbox 360's lifetime. I didn't buy a 360 until like 2008, and I didn't stop playing PS2 games then either.
