Why not? If X isn't as good as Y, shouldn't X have a lower score? Or are you just saying you don't like the way it was explained?

I disagree. You have to take into account if there are better games to spend your money on, and if you're looking for a niche genre game, you don't have many options so you can't be too picky. If you're looking for a multiplayer shooter, you have lots of options, so the games need to set the bar a little higher.
If 25 games is the real number, that's not that big a problem to be honest. Sure I own more than 25 games, but it isn't like I play all of them on a regular basis. Realistically I probably don't play more than 25 games a year; that's two games a month (and just on PS4 or XB1, not counting 3DS or whatever else). You'll…
But there will always be people excited to have it on day one, and those people will pick up the slack for the people like me who can't afford to buy a console at launch day just to support something.
The review is here because people expect a review by the time a game comes out; there's nothing on the multiplayer because you can't review the multiplayer until after the game comes out (because you need to actually play with other people). Your complaint is understandable but it is kind of a catch-22.
I'm going to have to disagree with this pretty hard. For all the terrible names of last generation I think capitalization is one of the least offensive things to change up on. You're allowed to be creative with capitalization and punctuation in names; that's what poetic license is for. I mean, it wasn't like they…
I'm seriously shocked that anyone could possibly think that! (Unless you're talking about the L2/R2 buttons, in which case, yeah, those were kind of nice.) Analog face buttons were awful terrible things that I only remember using a couple of times, but hating so much that I still remember them. It was way to easy to…
Yes, for sure. The game isn't that great solo or with random people. But if you play it with friends, the game is a lot of fun.
Can you still do the trick where you put a pokemon like Haunter up for an impossible trade so that it evolves when you pull it back down, or have they fixed that since the last pokemon game I played?
Well, to be fair, everyone needs the starters to fill out their pokedex. You traded for the starters to get them in the first place...
To each his own I guess. A lot of people seem to play Animal Crossing pretty intensely, actually—there are forums with trading communities and stuff. But it's not for everyone. Personally I prefer to buy my consoles around where the 3DS is right now—launch consoles are always kind of slow to get going, but after a…
Do people actually buy both X and Y? I thought you just teamed up with a friend and bought opposing versions.
This review makes it sound like I won't like it for the same reasons I disliked Heavy Rain, but at the same time I feel like I'm obligated to play it because I appreciate the goal of the game. I guess I'll probably rent it somewhere at some point.
Well, being colorful and abstract doesn't make something instantly good, but there is a difference between games that are technically impressive and games that are visually impressive. (Mirror's Edge is a game with good art style without cel-shading.) A more realistically rendered gritty urban battlefield (or shiny…
Well, you know what they say about headlines ending in question marks—if they had enough evidence to answer the question with a "yes," the headline wouldn't have ended in a question mark.
I dunno, for me, it was never a "this used to be better in the old days" thing, it was just a "this could potentially be better" thing.
I don't think it says either of those things. I'm sure there will be a limit on how many computers you can authorize (5–10 would be cool, but that's just speculation), but the story above doesn't mention any kind of limit on how many authorized computers you can have.
That was debunked a long time ago (scroll down to the tweets in the middle of the story):
Actually, there was an official statement saying that the one hour thing was made up and that family sharing was full games. It was reported on Kotaku...
"An" is correct. It's based off of the sound of the first letter, so because you would actually say "em em oh," MMO starts with a vowel sound so you would say "an."
