Yes, shaking the creme is an important part of reviewing Oreos. Shut up.

Pumpkin spice is the name for a combination of spices used to make pumpkin taste less horrible. Complaining that a pumpkin spice latte contains no real pumpkin is like complaining that your A1 Steak Sauce latte contains no real steak.
Odds of a Western release when we've missed EVERY DQ in the last three years? Not looking so good...*sigh*
You use the system transfer tool same as you would to switch between existing models, I'm sure. So you have to hang on to your old machine and have them both on hand to switch over, THEN you can sell the old one if you want.
The New 3DS is faster, with improved hardware, and has a better battery life. Oh, and it's lighter.
That's the EyeToy. The PSeye was the PS3 camera. :P
And this is why my friend at GameStop (anecdotal and to some untrustworthy, I know) said he wasn't seeing much interest in the $400 bundle at release. Most well-informed people would rather take the long-term savings and have a fully-functional setup out of the gate. And those who WEREN'T well-informed...how many of…
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. The absurdly simple gameplay yet mildly interesting level design and kickass (well, some of it) music meld to make the perfect sick game.
Having trouble finding the page in question on the Nintendo UK site. Link, or was it an accidental early post that's already been taken down?
Phantasy Star with pirates and airships. Sounds awesome, especially as they're from the same development team. But many found the game to be extremely difficult. To put it more bluntly, it kicked our asses. With numerous random battles and unforgiving difficulty, the main reason this game wasn't on the original list…
The worst thing is when Trophy hunting makes you not enjoy a game even the first time around. I jumped into The Last of Us on Hard trying to streamline Trophy earning, and what did I get for it? Zero fun and to this day still 0% on the game because I never finished it at all.
Then there's the Assassin's Creed series,…
That's Mega Man 10. Gotta watch out for those Roman numeral/other title clashes. :P
Having played through the entire (released in English to date) series, I don't recall them ever specifically mentioning LA, or the USA as a whole. In fact, the games are EXTREMELY vague about nations in general, excepting fictional ones. I'm sure there have been some oddities in the localization nonetheless, but I…
When you think of the term "visual novel," you probably think of dating simulators stuffed full of anime tropes and hentai scenes. I am here to convince you that this is wrong.
I'm a longtime PS fan, from the days of playing PS1 at friends' houses to getting my own PS2 to today, where I was a preorder day-one purchaser of a PS4. Heck, I preordered a VITA, so you know I'm crazy for PS (Uncharted specifically). With all the crazy hype about the PS4, there was no way I was gonna miss that boat.…
"Even Zelda is doing it." THAT'S what worries me. Yes, you could argue that's a return to the series' VERY early roots, and some people such as Arin Hanson will probably love it to death if they deliver on that promise...but for the LttP/OoT/etc. crowd, it's probably going to be too much.
So yeah, I agree with…
I dunno, maybe this is TOO MUCH of a nitpick, but the order of the words feels wrong to me. I think it should be Power, Wisdom, and Courage...that's how it's USUALLY written, yes? Google research appears to confirm this belief...and yeah, I feel kinda jerky pointing that out, but it bothers me nonetheless. :P
This might all sound basic to seasoned Zelda fans. But the reason I love the detail my friend pointed out, even as someone with limited experience actually playing these games, is that it explains why longtime fans of Nintendo's series hold Link so near and dear to their hearts.
I am reminded of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, wherein ice cream that doesn't melt no matter how long you set it out is seen as a fantastic marvel in dessert engineering. Funny how it just looks gross and unnatural in reality. :P
