> The last mainline entry in the series, Kingdom Hearts II, came out for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.

HI CAN THIS PLEASE BE BROUGHT OUT OF THE GRAYS? IT IS INTERESTING INFO I PROMISE. :(

Hi! Okay so: A couple people already pointed this out, but yeah this is something that’d make a level designer cringe a bit, like “Oh crap they found a hole in the collision”. To the uninitiated though it’s pretty cool looking, innit?

Did you just call Bomberman “other stuff”? You lemur.

How I imagine two kids from different fandom meet:

I named my daughter Kairi and don’t regret it. Sadly only 3 people in 4 years have known the reference (or at least mentioned it to me). The most recent person overheard me say her name and asked “Kingdom Hearts?” It turns out he also named his dog Kairi (and other dog Sora). It was awesome.

Actually, let’s do it. Send me an e-mail stephentotilo at kotaku dot com. We’ll see how boring you are.

You could profile me, but I am also a wanker and I have zero following online. I’m also very boring. I do play nothing but Destiny and I don’t stream.

Maybe don’t profile me.

It’s likely because of piracy. This game lives and dies on what is essentially DLC. Put it on PC and give it a week; someone will have made a “play as anyone” digital Toy Pad to unlock every figure without paying.

They have been, leaving room for a screwup like this. Freaking out isn’t necessary, but anger over a new character being added to the game that existing fans will have to either purchase a new Starter Pack or wait for who knows how long to add to their collection certainly is.

Niantic has been terrible at communicating with its players. Maybe literally taking money out of their pocket will send a message that they can’t ignore.

I read somewhere online (too lazy to go looking for it) is that some guy unpacked the source code, and the way it works is:

Meanwhile in the rest of the world.

Based on the fact that the image is way too similar to the in-game model to be mere coincidence. How fortunate that they happened to have every single item, in the right shapes and textures, to match the drawing pretty much exactly.

You can get Shining Force 2 and Landstalker on Steam, dude.

I’m actually the Fangamer staffer dressed as their booth’s Toriel, freaking out in this video. After he did this, I ran out to the front of the booth, and hugged him, and whispered “I still forgive you.” and he kinda awkwardly wandered away.

I still think Nintendo removing levels from the server for lack of popularity is a good idea on paper. If it were more like “Oh, 100 people played your level and nobody starred it and it’s been a month. We’ve removed it and encourage you to try making it better and reupload it!”, it would encourage people to become

“Audiences are not stupid,” writes the commenter, as the joke flies over their head. ;)

A couple of people involved with the sort managed to snag a couple of games like original FF7 still in the factory packaging, but I’m not supposed to know about that lol.
