I’m interested, but I use my parents’ cable credentials to sign in to HBO Max so I’m no use to them unless I talk about it on social media and use hashtags.

I mean, it’s streaming for a month, and then it’ll be gone till it would have originally hit whatever its original streaming date was.

Confirmation bias. A good counter-example these days would be that the Harry Potter kids all seem to have grown up to be normal people.

literally the only thing I can think of is Lazy Sunday

They wouldn’t be the same movies without it being Christmas. Especially the first one, because a good chunk of what I remember involves christmas ornaments.

Buses have metal poles that stick out from the front so that their blind spot doesn’t get a kid in it...wonder when that’ll be an option on the trucks.

There’s still a poster up for the Battlehawks XFL season at my transport hub. The ads inside the buses are even worse because they print the date that it’s supposed to be taken down by on the ad - I’ve seen years-old ads up because there’s been nothing to replace them with.

Those poor innocent souls haven’t seen Indiana Jones 4 yet.

Wait, the day before a holiday is also a holiday?

Christmas eve was one of the busiest days of the year when I worked pizza because absolutely no one wanted to cook. And then Christmas was also busy because we were the only thing open in town (college town) and anyone not off visiting family/celebrating on the weekend

I feel like they missed an opportunity to show this at night...

I feel like just making the movie that the toy is based off of in-universe is meta enough. Trying to explain these two options to my roommate was difficult - “the movie will be the movie that’s in universe, like, it’s the movie Andy watched that made him want to buy the toy”.

I figure that he sounds different because

I got it from “fra-gee-lay”. I also thought basically everyone would do this occasionally because who has not seen that movie 400 times

I mean, Spidey 2 was probably filmed on...film.

I’m the best impressionist in the world, but I can only do impressions of people that I’m 100% certain you’ve never heard or will hear.

That’s better than me - I hadn’t even heard of this show till this moment.

Now he’s a corpse buried IN a field.

I can’t even bring a backpack into the theater here. They make me keep it at the service desk because I could have a camera hidden in there.

I also can’t carry it inside the grocery store because of theft concerns.

No one bats an eye at giant tote bags carried as purses, though. Which would probably be EASIER to steal

Right. “It’s not ideal but hey if you can now watch a movie on a bus then at least you’re watching” is a good take.

If you have Roku, you don’t have HBO Max.

I have to use my Xbox, hooked up to my Roku TV. Which is annoying, because I have to use the Xbox controller or the Xbox app as the remote, and they both go to sleep meaning I can’t easily pause or rewind.

Right, why can’t vampires exist? Blade’s happening.
