Pretty much, yeah. They stuck us with the shit ending of Halo 2 and never have us the ending to the series, or its spinoffs. I should also mention Halo 2 cannot be bought anymore for the PC unless you track down a new, sealed box copy, since it uses Games for Windows Live. Brilliant decision there, Microsoft.

I've had to do this before, though the gas station I bought it from was a single use kit for $35. Fixed my tire like new, and I ran with the fix until I moved to Massachusetts and got a new set of tires for the car (about eight months later) to pass inspection. It's a really nice kit, and really small, just buy it

I've never described the Miata as a girly car. I'd always said, "The body design is a bit effeminate for my personal tastes, but I've heard phenomenal things about how it drives." Conversely, for the Escalade (or most trucks) it's, "Meh, I find it to be far too masculine in its design."

Not bad - a dozen premium Pepperoni Rolls for $49? Way more expensive than the generic, cheap kind from Sheetz, but still not a bad deal I suppose. What I really, really want though, is a Clark's Pie. Those things are delicious, but only available in Cardiff.

Gotta admit, I was half-expecting a proper article on How to Survive Air Travel from Lifehacker. Pleasantly surprised to find this instead!

It did! I just had some American friends move to Tokyo for work, so I'm hoping they'll be open to showing me around in a year or two once they've settled in and I have the funds for another trip.

My first international trip, I was lucky enough to both have a friend in Cardiff (I went to the UK), and be confident enough in my own traveling experiences to avoid the touristy stuff from the moment I stepped off the plane.

Alabama - The Sims 2.

IT here. I can't speak for the game industry specifically, but I can sort of generalize the rationale behind this behavior.

For what it's worth, it took a year of savings just to buy the cans themselves (the amp/DAC was an earlier, separate purchase). I'm not stupid rich or anything, but I wanted these so bad that I laid out a savings plan to acquire them and stuck with it!

Good thing this poll isn't limited just to Kotaku, then! Yeah, it's an incredibly expensive up front investment, but I don't regret it one little bit.

These are my current portable headphones, and have been since their initial release. Easily driven by any portable audio player, they sound and look fantastic. I make daily use of them at work and on the road, and they even do a decent job suppressing noise when I fly! The only downsides are the price ($300), the

An updated version of my original foray into audiophile headphones, the 555, the current 558's are a plastic body with metal grilles and a replaceable cord. They sound surprisingly great for their price tag, and are a little more portable than the HD800s I currently use at home, though don't mistake portability for

I've got three pairs of Headphones I've fallen in love with over the years, two of which I still own. All are circumaural or supra-aural, funny enough!

Finally, someone gets it. I've simplified it further - 20%, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. This is great for delivery drivers, as they get a clean takeaway without fussing with change, plus it usually comes out to 21-24%, which makes you look like you value their work (and you do!).

Same, but with my B&W P5s. If one is off, I'm available to talk. If both are on, please leave me be!

This is the same discussion I've had countless times with my friends, especially when they find out how much my HD800s cost (You spent how much on headphones?!), or see my music collection is in lossless format.

From the very last paragraph of the article:

They're either assholes or liars. They're liars if they're spouting this BS, knowing full well it's bad business to spend money on games you have no intention of releasing upon completion, instead saving for some invisible, obscure metric you refuse to disclose. Alternatively, they're assholes because, despite it

Those last two lines are mint. A backhanded compliment to the modding community, followed by an insinuation that better textures/shaders somehow makes the game -less- enjoyable? Geez Ubisoft, why not just give us a big middle finger?
