Due to the frequency that this happens, I can only conclude that the engineers at Lambo did not consider all of the use cases their customers need.

Most EVs are super fast off of the line but my turbo’d Subaru feels so much faster cause it’s so tricked out with suspension and hearing the turbo and engine scream just adds to it.

According to a guy on Reddit, the actual thing that happened was the driver leaned over to pick up something from the footwell, and the car started rolling. He tried to push the brakes to stop it, but stomped the throttle instead, and probably panicked when it shot forward.

There is the minor factor that closing a public road to do this sort of thing is kind of a big deal. And the fact that no matter how careful and prepared they are, the driver is very much risking his life.
