Shouda boughta BRZ. I have heated mirrors :)

Different strokes for different folks! All I’ll say is that I actually prefer driving a slower car that feels light, than a faster car that feels heavier. (Within reason, obviously.) It used to annoy my dad that I told him I preferred the way my 15 year old Subaru Outback handled in the corners as compared with his

The point of my post was not to say that the Twins have the perfect amount of horsepower. It was just using my personal anecdote about the car I own to agree with the idea that cars need to be lighter.

It’s also REALLY hard to find a vehicle for sale today that can give you the power-to-weight ratio you are looking

I don’t disagree with you. I’m just saying that, given the choice between the two, I prefer the lighter car over the faster car.

To answer your question: kind of. They LOVE to throw numbers at you. They will show you skidpad numbers and say, “SEE? THE MUSTANG CORNERS JUST AS WELL AS THE BRZ!” And no matter how much you

This is something that a lot of people find hard to grasp. Take my BRZ, for example. A Mustang, or a Camaro, can put down similar skidpad figures, but you still have a feeling of mass through the corners that isn’t anywhere near as delightful. A big, heavy 600 HP car can be fast as fuck... and it can maybe even be

Not to mention the sea of yellow flags around him. Like... I would almost understand if there hadn’t been any flags, and he was still just focused on the driver to his left (I mean... you still need to keep an eye in front of you, but whatever). However, in a sea of yellow flags, you need to be looking for obstacles,

That’s not the point. The point is paying $42,000/yr, or paying $3/hr. From a profit perspective, the latter makes a LOT of sense... even with the added cost of importing them to the US.

I honestly thought this was a pretty obvious thing. I mean what else would they be for? Lol.

Going a bit over the rated towing capacity of your vehicle isn’t necessarily a recipe for disaster in and of itself. I have a BRZ, and I tow a trailer that can weigh over 700 lb without any problems whatsoever... which is 700 lb over what the BRZ is rated to tow, lol.

By that logic, cars shouldn’t have even regular horns, since other drivers should always be paying attention. Have you never had to use your vehicle’s horn before?

This is a very narrow-minded take. I assume you live in the middle of nowhere? I guarantee you won’t hear a fully electric vehicle approaching in the middle of a city. The ambient noise is MUCH louder than the faint sound the tires make of a vehicle traveling at 20 MPH.

It isn’t inexplicable. There is a very good reason for it: the M8 simply looked MASSIVE next to the GT even without any photoshop help. That’s what spurred the memes.

Lmao. I never noticed how strangely consistent the gas gauge was across all of those photos!

It does. The gear indicator remains blank so long as the clutch pedal is depressed.

Lol. My summer tires aren’t synced because I bought Subaru sensors like an idiot, not realizing that the TPMS system on the BRZ uses Toyota sensors :(

Here’s another one from, like, 10 years ago. Of course the milestone occurred on the highway right as I was driving over a long bridge with no proper shoulder. So this was the best photo I got with my crappy phone at the time.

People always say that, but you can’t match the tach AND the gear indicator ;)

Mine require less math, but more skill with regards to not running over curbs/pedestrians/kittens...

I don’t disagree with cruising in the passing lane if the right lane is a destroyed mess. So long as the road isn’t full of traffic, and you pay attention to your mirrors and move back over well in advance of any faster traffic.

Ignorance doesn’t upset me. It’s just sad.
