Pilot error. They’re out of their Element.

Just installed an AP Racing BBK on my BRZ!

He took out the front left corner of that other car that I stopped in front of on the shoulder :(

Driveable but fender all crumpled, and wheel messed up. But yeah. Fixable. Unlike that POS Honda which probably had a bent frame.

Do you have a link to this information?

Your article is unclear. If tires are the limit, then why will the car “never” hit that speed? All we need is a tire that’s designed to do that. I’m not saying that’s easy, but... your headline makes it sound like there are a BUNCH of reasons why it won’t, however the article only talks about tire forces.

Lol, no need to pay! If you own one long enough, you catch all kinds of stuff. For example, I caught this crash literally the night before that U-Haul one.

Came for physics-defying cars.
Left disappointed.

I caught a much-less dramatic version of this a few week ago on my dashcam, lol.

It could also be runway length. Per my research, Denver’s runway is 16,000 feet long, whereas Phoenix’s runway is only 11,490 feet long. That’s a HUGE difference! It’s not necessarily whether the engine can OPERATE in the current conditions. It’s whether it can get the get the aircraft to the necessary speed in the

My Subaru Outback’s head gasket had been blown for months, but I still was able to drive it around town if I nursed it. Well I’m driving home (about 10 miles out) at around midnight and glance down at the temperature gauge to notice it’s just shy of being pinned at the top of its range. This wasn’t uncommon, and all I

Sorry, but that looks WAY better than Ford’s current design language. The Dodge looks elegant.

So? This car is not targeted at people planning to race other cars on the road. This is like people who argue that the BRZ is a stupid car because “you will get obliterated by a Mustang on the highway.”

Had train horns on my Outback with a toggle to switch between stock horns, and I hope to install the same setup on my BRZ too. Train horns were good for when you REALLY needed to get someone’s attention if they were doing something really dumb, or if you REALLY wanted to piss someone off who was being an idiot.

Two pet-peeves of mine:

1. DO NOT TURN YOUR WHEELS while waiting to turn. Keep your wheels pointed straight. Turned wheels means in the unlikely event that you are rear-ended, you will be pushed into oncoming traffic.

2. MOVE TOWARDS THE LEFT a bit. This allows you to see past an oncoming car waiting to also turn left,

I don’t know why people hate these bright colors so much. On a Camry, sure, it’s dumb. On an exotic car whose entire purpose is to be ridiculous, extravagant, and eye-catching... why not?!

In GEICO’s case, they actually had a separate clause in the contract that specifically allowed them the right to not renew the policy for literally any reason they wanted, so when I pressed them on the subject, they changed their tune and said that while I hadn’t violated my contract, they were not renewing my policy

I don’t disagree with you, but the verbiage states that parts that fail as a result of track use are not covered. They never state that the vehicle warranty is void if you track the car. That’s a very distinct difference.

It’s the same thing I ran into with GEICO, where they claimed that they were dropping my coverage

I have an entire blog dedicated to autocrossing my BRZ, an associated YouTube channel, Facebook Page, and Instagram, and have had no issues getting warranty work done (including a brand new clutch assembly and transmission due to non-racing-related failures) because my dealership isn’t run my complete assholes. There

Kinda-sorta-not-really-related: GEICO also doesn’t like BRZs doing fun stuff.

The onus is on the manufacturer to prove the failure was the result of abuse on the track. The onus is not on YOU to prove it DIDN’T occur. Innocent until proven guilty.
