I genuinely don’t understand the hatred some people have towards proximity keys. I’ve driven/owned multiple vehicles with these systems for YEARS, and they’ve been nothing other than incredibly convenient. The ONLY time I’ve ever had an issue was when the vehicle battery started dying, and caused the vehicle to not

Any more info on that $180k lawsuit? Not that I don’t believe you, I’m just curious to find out more about how big of an asshole that person was, lol.

We’re halfway there!!!

“Shoes with belt-sanders.”

This made me laugh just picturing it. This absolutely needs to be a sport.

I bought the LC 130. I’ve spent 1% of the time using it for things I need it for, and 99% of the time having fun blinding the SHIT out of my friends at night with strobe mode, lol. It’s bright AF!

They’ve offered STi parts for the BRZ for years now. If people can’t figure that out, it’s not Subaru’s fault! My BRZ came with no less than EIGHT STi logos on it from the factory over two years ago!

That’s exactly what it is. They aren’t even trying to troll people. The people are doing that to themselves with articles like this one.

There are always unique situations. There are high-pressure fuel lines, blazing hot exhaust headers, etc... all packed in close proximity in the engine bay. Crash test a car 100 times and you’ll never have exactly the same damage.

For every Subaru that hits a deer and catches fire, there are at least 1,000 that hit a deer and don’t. There are high pressure fuel pumps, fuel lines, blazing hot exhaust headers, etc... all packed in there. It’s completely unrealistic to expect a car to NEVER catch fire when the front end is smashed.

So what happened at 1:50? Was he avoiding something on the track? He almost seemed to shake his head in disappointment after.

He was making a joke, lol.

I LOL’d :P

To be honest, the Tahoe owner needs to take a defensive driving course. They don’t appear to hit the brakes until the dump truck has pretty much almost cleared their vehicle, lol.

Remember that gravity acts the same on the entire vehicle, regardless of mass. Once it’s in the air, all else being equal, the front and rear will drop at the same rate until you reach speeds high enough for wind resistance to take effect (think dropping the vehicle from an airplane.)

The only thing that affects the

All these people saying they could never feel safe in a car like my BRZ on the roads. WHO’S LAUGHING NOW???

Small-Frontal-Overlap Crash Test Result: 1 Star

Because you use the word “proof” as if I’m intending to use it in court. Nobody says, “I took the photo as proof of the license plate,” when referring to remembering a plate, be it a funny plate or whatever. They say, “I took a photo to remember the plate by.”

When people use “proof” in common parlance, it suggests

Ugh. Okay, so it’s proof for ME, then... to prove to myself that I know what her plate was... if that’s what you’re stupidly trying to state.

The point you were trying to make was that it “incriminates” me, but what I’m trying to say is I would never have offered that photograph up to anyone else. Nobody else would

I’m using the photo to remember a plate number. If I had mentioned that I had written her plate number down on a piece of paper, would we be having this argument right now? No. Because that wouldn’t be proof of anything. I’m using the photo solely to record her number. I’m not using it to PROVE anything. I’m not

Judge: “When did you record her plate number?”

Me: “When I parked. I’ve had bad experiences with people dinging my car parking too close to me, so I take photos of plates when I park next to a beaten-up car that is poorly parked to begin with, just in case.”
