To be fair, anyone who thinks the “free” shuttle is actually free doesn’t understand how... life... works. The cost of operation obviously has to be recouped at some point along the line...

Go and download Swipe for Android right now. It’s a wrapper that basically stylizes the mobile site version of Facebook. It’s developed by like one guy who constantly pushes out updates and it’s great!

This is like that dog vs. mountain bike video from earlier, but with way fewer pixels.

I wouldn’t say no to the opportunity to drive any Ferrari, ever. But if I one day had the means to actually purchase and own an exotic vehicle, I would personally rather support a company that is much more “friendly” and less controlling. There are plenty of equally fantastic alternatives that can go toe-to-toe with a

True. I just hate how they go about things. The entire selling point of their cars is that they are the pinnacle of performance and technology. The “very best” of what a car can do. To not allow the vehicles to be tested against their peers does indeed “protect the brand image” by not allowing their competitors to

“If you’ve ever left a chocolate bar sitting around...”

LOLWUT.

You’re reading WAY too much into my comparison. I just wanted to make the point that just because you can have a good experience with someone, doesn’t mean they’re overall a very nice person. Ferrari might be super friendly to their buyers, but they tend to be dicks to people outside of that inner circle...
...or

Lol, that’s only my screen name carried over from my AIM days. I drive a BRZ - so kind of the opposite, lmao.

The point I was making was that just because they are nice to their buyers, doesn’t mean they don’t have a shitty overall attitude. Being overly-protective of your brand is your right, but it’s just plain shitty.

It isn’t an edge case. The Grand Tour are FAR from the first “journalists” I’ve heard complain about how much of a PITA Ferrari is to work with. I’ve heard the same story from quite a few people.

I’m not talking about the buying experience. That part might be absolutely lovely. I just have a hard time supporting a

I’m sure as long as you follow their rules, they’re pleasant people. I hear Hitler was a nice guy too.

That is, of course, an extreme example, but you get the point.

Of course my opinion doesn’t matter to them. It’s just my opinion.
Doesn’t make them any less douchy of a company, though. It’s poor sportsmanship to not allow your vehicles to be directly compared to their rivals.

Ferrari makes some absolutely fantastic vehicles...
...but their douchebaggery as a company is such that I would never want to buy one from them if I could afford it. There are so many other choices from companies that aren’t so wrapped up in their own sense of self-importance that they’re afraid to let anyone else

I’ve had a 4K TV for almost two years now, and this was the first time I actually watched 4K content on it (other than the in-store demos.)

I want nothing less than 4K for EVERYTHING from now on.

I did the same thing with my 165 HP Subaru Outback once...

Filling your USB ports with cement. Thanks. That’s about as useful a tip as when the dentist says, “Just don’t eat any more candy or sugary foods,” as if that’s the obvious, and easy solution to my misery.

Never.

GO HOKIES!

Exactly. You could always remove it and take it with you...
...but it’s easy to say that. Admittedly, I sold my Outback with the whole setup, which I now regret. At the time I was too lazy to uninstall it, lol.

It was an expensive investment, but for what it’s worth, two years later it was still all working perfectly. They’re pretty good quality parts. Plus, as I mentioned in another thread here, it has other uses. I added a quick connect coupler to the air tank, and kept a 30-foot air line coiled around the spare tire in

It also came in handy for other purposes. I was able to fill tires, and run air tools out of my car. Kept a 30-foot air line with a quick connect coupling curled around the spare tire. So it is useful as more than just a fun toy if you set it up properly :)
