Based on... what, exactly? Obsidian’s games have a history of meaningful choice & consequence. I’m not sure why you’re expressing skepticism over the claim that Avowed will have it too.

I wouldn’t mind it so much if I at least had the option of playing in third person. It’s a rare first person game that doesn’t give me motion sickness to some degree (the only one in recent memory is Cyberpunk), so I would be far more excited if I had options.
God I was so stoked for that game. After The Force Unleashed and GTAIV I really that that tech was going to be more prevalent in gaming.
I’m absolutely still going to play it day one but I’m also supremely disappointed that Indy is first-person. So much of the character is the movement and physicality and I think it’s a disservice that we won’t see that in gameplay.
Assuming all of these games make it to 2024, I will definitely be playing Avowed and Indiana Jones. IJ actually looks very impressive. I should also go back and finish the first Hellblade to play part II.
weekly schedule sucks.
I really think Donofrio has turned in the best performance of the entire Marvel franchise, including the movies. I’m glad Marvel came to their senses in bringing him back.
and yet Harold, who everyone thought was a ghoul lived mostly unmolested (people made fun of him for being a rotting stinking mess, but let him stay in an apartment near the biggest weapons & chems stores in town AND he apparently had plenty of friends in the thieves guild) for a couple decades in the Hub.
Yeah, BGS introduced the idea of Feral Ghouls which I guess made most people think that Ghouls are zombies and that intelligent ones are the exception, not the rule. In the original games, the opposite was true.
There is fairly large difference between Ghouls and the Scorched, or Ferals. Ghouls are not “zombies” unless you are only referring to looks..
This is great, IMO. I love old games and many of them I can overlook shortcomings due changes in controls and graphics, but the old Tomb Raider games feel so rough now. I’m glad you can revert it to the old style, but this is an old series that did not age well at all. Playing them now I’m shocked that I played…
This review barely has any focus on the differences between game versions, which is kind of a waste since we can just read the general reviews from four years ago.
I’m gonna pay because I adore the game and the 10 buck upgrade is nice but if it was full price I’d avoid it like the plague bc it’s the same graphics esentially.
Wait, so this is just a small graphic update? I wonder how different Part II and Part II Remastered really look, because from the screenshots I don’t see a significant upgrade.
i dont argue with bootlickers that defend billion dollar companies making things worse for everyone lmao
if buying is not owning then piracy is not stealing
Yeah, well, I haven’t “moved over” to Spotify or Netflix, either. /oldmanyellsatcloud
running cover for billion-dollar companies? lmao
silence, bootlicker!
Its almost like we should just pirate everything Ubisoft (and every AAA publisher) ever makes.
I’m okay with it as long as they’re okay with never owning any of my money.
