“I just come from a different time.”

Yeah, I have a lot of issues with the prequels but one of the things it got right is that technology and aesthetics don’t always advance in step with each other, and don’t always consistently move in the same direction. Of course things looked prettier during a prosperous peacetime than they did under the thumb of an

Dammit, now I can’t NOT see DLR in that picture.

Judging from the notes released so far, the answer is, “Nothing that fixes the core problems with Starfield itself.”

I was okay with that, the explanation being (if I remember correctly) that the galaxy went from an era of lovingly crafted ships with high aesthetic values to mass-produced, industrialised ships cranked out as quickly as possible. To me it doesn’t seem much different to the shift from the beautiful automobiles of

At first glance, I thought this was David Lee Roth.

I wonder what any of them make of Mel Brooks. Maybe the one living comedian who is truly from a different time, yet he’s kept himself on the right side for it all.

That whole “skipping parts of back canon that I don’t like” doesn’t seem to work well. They tried it with Terminator.

I think they got like half way into making Starfield and realized they kinda didn’t want to. Like it seemed like a good idea but then it ended up just not being any fun. And they all wanted to just go and work on a new Elder Scrolls game but couldn’t because they already spent so much money. So they ended up

I hate the “I’m from a different time” bit. Bro, you’re alive and currently working. You’re in this time. If your views on the world haven’t adapted to be relevant to the world you’re living in, then update or quit.

Of course BGS will release their Shattered Space DLC before they finish actually fixing the game. They’ve already shot themselves in their left foot with their response to the criticisms of Starfield, why not shoot the right one too by demanding more money for DLC for a game nowhere near complete?

Cool. Except he’s whining to people who paid money to see him deliver comedy, not engage in a group hug to soothe his bruised ego. Fuck him.

I didn’t even think the Taylor Swift thing was a *joke*. Anyway, it’s always boring when people whose job it is to make people laugh don’t, and then go “it’s the audience’s fault” instead of “I guess I just didn’t do my job today”.

Funnier people than Jo Koy have bombed as awards show hosts. Looking at you, David Letterman. Difference there is that in the aftermath, as far as I know, Letterman never called Oprah and Uma marshmallows, and instead made himself the butt of the joke. Jo, you could stand to learn from Dave.

I love when comedians go Full Maher. Yes, it’s the audience who is wrong. It’s because of Woke Culture you bombed. People hate laughing in general and laughing at comedians in particular. It’s their fault and not yours. It sounds like this guy was softer than his audience.

I don’t know who this person is. Like most of the world, I didn’t watch the Golden Globes. He seems annoying. Let’s stop talking about him.

I think there’s a misconception that people - including Taylor Swift - didn’t laugh because his jokes were offensive. People didn’t laugh because they weren’t funny.

What about all the other people who didn’t think he was funny?

sorry falloutt 76 i still cannot fucking believe that game launched with NO npcs lol

I like Bethesda games but this is the most stale and lazy shit I’ve ever seen from them, and these guys made Oblivion.
