Freedom Planet is more of a cross between Sonic and Gunstar Heroes. You'll get into some really intense boss fights later in the game. Probably the big release this week is the Hearthstone expansion Curse of Naxxramas on Tuesday, even if it is being spread out. Also personally I'm looking forward to tomorrow's release of Freedom Planet, though that's largely due to backing their Kickstarter and hoping the game turned out well.

Actually it'd probably be more accurate to say Dota 2 is Dota 1 with microtransactions. (Though in Dota 2's case, they're purely cosmetic.) There are many mechanical differences that differentiate Dota and LOL. It's really up to personal preference.

I picked up Battleblock Theater and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, both of which were completely paid for by selling unwanted items from my Steam Inventory. Turns out all those cards are actually worth something.
