Note that you said “generally.” But your original post said “never.” And that is.... simply... not... true. 

Human beings can have different opinions. They can like different facets of different thinkers. We’d all be better off if we stopped trying to identify everyone as “all bad” or “all good.” It’s not going to end well. 

That’s just not true. We can disagree with him, but he does actually present arguments and they are not that poorly thought out. It’s intellectually lazy to avoid engaging in a debate simply because you think the other person’s points are invalid. Sharpens the mind to engage.
