“FB and other social media just make it easier to be an asshole.”

I, for one, think it’s cool as hell. Maybe it’ll do 250mph if the build quality is good.

I’d wager the rear windows are a sort of thin plastic to reduce the weight impact from glass.

Exactly. Me too. I mean it is a performance car. No, it’s not louder or faster or better handling - but mileage and efficiency are pretty damn important, and interesting, metrics for a car.

But this was spotted in MA, so good luck with a bike. If the cold don’t kill ya, the poorly maintained roads will.

Every time I drive to my parent’s house (184 miles) I try to set a person best record for the shortest drive time. I always try to beat the Waze/Google maps ETA.

I get it.

This thing has been making the rounds in all of the FB car groups, and it’s amazing how many people immediately jump down the guy’s throat with comments poking fun at someone who apparently can’t afford gas for the car, or is too stingy if a Prius isn’t economical enough for him.

What the fuck, people. This is awesome.

Because blinding fellow drivers because you’re too lazy/cheap to change a bulb is ok? Because contributing to NYC’s image problem as a dirty city while also preventing your neighbors from benefiting from the street cleaning their tax dollars paid for is no biggie?

He is hurting the people who will have their cars towed for this dumb advice.

I got Krazy Glue and a box of labels. I’ll make my own.

I’m not a cop and the author or this piece sounds like a dick.

Absolutely. That trash goes somewhere and that somewhere is the harbor. Killing all types of animals because people are lazy and disrespectful to the world. And this article just feeds the madness.

The thing is that street sweeping isn’t even just to make the streets look nicer, it’s more to do with storm water and the runoff after rainstorms. All the crap in the gutter ends up in the streams and rivers unless it gets picked up by, oh I dunno, a street sweeper lol. Aside from just telling people to be dicks,

Not a hope in hell.

No, it is illegal to cruise in the left lane in some states. The left lane is for passing, much like my user name suggests. You are to use the left most lane on a divided highway to pass. Once you complete the pass, move over to the right at least one lane. I do not advertise the use of excessive speed.

I pay $300/month at the Municipal in the Lower East Side and that is extremely cheap for NYC. $200 is likely to be way out in the sticks, if it’s to be found at all. Over $500 is quite common in Manhattan.

Umm, what? I am a mechincal engineer, have built 2 ground up race cars, do all my own repairs, and I find that an essential car repair is just that, ESSENTIAL. A headlight is a fucking essential part of a car.

I am very “chill”.

Obviously. There is no way you’re going to find a place to park for $200 a month in Manhattan.
