Fuel filter problems generally keep a car from moving at full speed (or at all.)  Never do they not allow idle but allow driving at 70.

This is crack pipe to me.

My 2000 Isuzu Rodeo recently had a problem cutting out. It was the Intake Air Temperature Sensor. After a valiant effort to remove it while in the car, I removed the whole intake and hammered the crappy plastic sensor out in my dining room and replaced it with a new metal one. Boom, no more stalling, and no more check

Hitting a stiff bump in that Nebraska one would probably see the frame turn into iron oxide powder. The California one? I can’t judge the price of anything west coast, because things exist there that long ago returned to the Earth around here...and now I am going to be very unproductive and look at sSoCal Craigslist

. . . the air filter is a K&N. . . .

I love you can use the term “OJ Model Bronco” and most people know what you mean.

I had bought one of these for my daughter when she lived down a long dirt road, when she moved I took it for hauling scuba gear and towing the sailboat. With 250k on it it still passed emission test :) However the exhaust system was designed by Rube Goldberg and when it needed replacing I went with a hot rod muffler

In 2005 I bought a used ‘91 Isuzu truck with 90k on the odo for $1800. Found out afterwards it would randomly die while going down the road. One time in frustration I pounded the steering wheel and the truck restarted. I got home, pulled the shroud off the steering column, plugged the harness all the way in and drove

I’m with the seller on this one. I am too old to worry about this crack. If I already own it, I will fix it and run it into the ground, but I am not buying into a headache.

I think Honda is trying to catch up after dicking around with stupid hydrogen fuel cells and making subpar hybrids for so long. Now, even KIA has a hybrid people like better than Honda’s. Honda is refocusing and showing they can offer this technology and be a leader in it, I guess. While I do think it’s a bit of

First of all, the Leaf is full electric. Secondly, the Paseo isn’t that bad to drive. Don’t be mean.

I have a family of 4. Where do I put the dog?

Agree on that, but the Prime, IMO looks better than the regular Prius. And the Prius has always looked different, that is part of it’s schtick. I have a Hybrid Highlander and the only difference between mine and an non-hybrid is the badge and drive train, same goes with the RAV4 Hybrid and Camry/Avalon Hybrid, they

You seem to be making the assumption that most people care how they drive. They do not. When your most of your “drive” is commute through traffic to work at an average speed of 25mph, what you care about is comfy seats and a decent stereo. And a car that’s easy to drive in creeping traffic.

Recently I drove to

Because the world loves to pick something and target it for relentless humiliation. The Prius gets all the smug comments. BMW’s get all the turn signal comments. Mustangs get all the disastrous spin-out comments. Even though in all of these cases there are plenty of other cars shown to have the same driver issues.

Try putting a kid’s car seat in a motorcycle. Most people who are trying to save the planet for the next generation are actually involved in creating that next generation. Which I suppose is part of the problem. If we just stopped reproducing, we’d use a lot less energy. Maybe hyper-milers should just not have kids.

Really don’t get the hate for this car, Priuses, Camrys etc.

It’s a car. It’s not targeted to automotive enthusiasts, nor should it be. It works, it gets great gas mileage, it will haul you and your stuff all over the country if that’s your jam and I’m gonna guess that on the freeway it’s just as engaging as anything

The boring adult and reasonable father in me are both impressed. This is life at 30, boys. RUN!

I saw one in the dealership the other day as I was waiting for an under warranty repair and recall. The car looks pretty nice and could easily be mistaken from the Accord. I wouldn’t mind driving one if I had to and I cared about MPGs that badly.

I think because the old Civic hybrid had a stigma about poor MPGs (low 40s iirc). At least the Insight has the hybrid only name behind it and the original was a fantastic little car.
