I'm still waiting for Ford to announce a GT successor to challenge the ZR1/Z06 and Viper. The Coyote engine deserves a better chassis then that of the Mustang's (which on the GT500 completely overpowers it).

Toyota: the only company who has no shame about shitting all over their heritage.
That's a good thing
Chevy: Give us 18 months
If giant styling houses can barely get their designs to pass today's pedestrian/crash tests, how do expect a small coach builder that has limited resources to pass what are presumably much toughener tests in the future?
Yes, and it was crap.
Hmm, Jalopnik usually stops posting after Motorweek theater. I'm guessing this isn't just a random occurrence?
Oh, the thought of what the US auto industry could have been had not bean counters and idiotic business men controlled is a depressing one, isn't it?
Sounds like you experienced that gear failure yourself.
At least it's better then the new Top Gear UK teaser.
I think it's because it's the successor to a car that the Europeans love. As a result it doesn't have nearly as much bias against for being American, so you can always bring it up without the entire "American's can't do corners" stereotype. Then there's the fact it can handle 1300 HP just fine due to the fact it was…
Personally I can not see the Ravens offense being able to do what they did in Denver next week. The only reason they got anywere was due to the fact Smith destroyed Denver's secondaries. Take him away and you have an aging Boldin who isn't as versatile (aka he can he can catch the long throws) plays Smith does, two…
YES. I need more true world car's!
Why does a truck that will spend most of it's life on gravel need such chuncky off-road tires? Also, were can I get some stuff used to come up with this "press event"?!
Nope, still hasn't grown on me. In fact I just realized the side profile is awful (though that is the case with most large luxury sedans).
Just realized there's the issue of dealer markups and deliverly (like what Dodge did with the Viper) . Yeah, I'm now thinking around $130k (though if we're lucky they might do a stripier model for enthusiasts though that seems unlikely).
Actually from what's been reported so far it's more in the range of 120-140. Still not cheap but if you have enough money to buy a GTR then I think you'll be fine (though you might want to be a bit easy with the options).
I'll reserve judgment until I see how much this costs. However those stripes (which may or may not be a reference to the Omni GLH) need to go.
Well, there's the 1M (it's based of the 1 series though it doesn't have the hatch).
Eh, as long as we have cars that have the ICE engine as the main focus, sound good, come with manuals, and are RWD I'll be fine. That said there is something to be said for simplicity, and I hope cars like the Corvette Z06 and 911 GT3 (both of which embodies the traits I listed) will continue to exist.
