I was a youngin reading my mom’s old gossip magazines at the time. I remember seeing the pictures of him and his girlfriend leaving the cemetery after burying the stillborn baby, then seeing that she died and wondering how any person can go on after that.

I remember reading something about his pregnant girlfriend (or fiance?) dying in a car accident back in the 90's.

He has had a more than his share of tragedy.

He was on the Nerdist podcast recently, and he sounded really good. It made me happy because it seems like he’s had a really rough go of everything, all things considered.

That’s even sadder ;_; poor Keanu.

My theory is that despite being a movie star he’s close enough to normalcy to feel and experience occasional sadness instead of burying it under a pile of cocaine or Scientology or gym time. But maybe that’s just the fangirl in me talking.

The baby was stillborn and then she died a few months/year or so later.

He’s spoken about suffering through depression, so if this interview is any indication of where he’s at now, good for him.

There are a few celebs I actually care about, and he’s very high on that list. I really hope he finds true happiness. He can borrow my kid if he wants to! (I want him back though)
