this genuinely makes me so happy

It stands alone story-wise, but the main cop on this case refers to events of this season as an older man in Season 1, so you’re missing some level of build-up/history. I’d highly recommend both because both seasons were great in very different ways. Great for binge-watching on a cold wintery day, too.

It’s definitely a dram-edy. Lots of drama and seriousness, but the overall tone seems to be one of humor.
