YES! Clairol Shimmer Lights is the bomb! It takes out the brassiness from my dark brown-now- dyed-blonde hair. I use it every other shampoo and leave it in for three minutes.

Dark blonde, so that does give me more wiggle room. From my observation generally though, I think sulfates are really only a problem if you're using them every day, for almost any color. Exception for colored redheads, who seem to get color fading if you so much as look at them brightly.
