Well, technically, we're all in space.

So far, the next gen AC is definitely sounding more interesting to me. I'd like less sailing, and more big cities in my AC, as much as that sounds innovation-stifling.
Last week, we told you all about Assassin's Creed Unity, one of the two games in Ubisoft's action-adventure series…
SchrodingerStation 4 coming this summer. *units may be working or defective upon arrival, we suggest that you don't open the box that they come in to ensure optimal usage.
3) Both are true until until someone opens the box.
It doesn't and I find your desire to take the high road angle dull as hell
For all its production values, the writing on Diablo 3 was atrocious.
Happens all the time in Europe? No, it happens all the time in Russia in Italy, but very rarely in countries like England and Germany.
Works kind of like boot camp. If one guy screws up, punish them all. Everybody who wasn't guilty will make sure the guilty party does not do it again.
There's no room for racism in football (or anywhere else for that matter), those "diehard fans"deserve to be punished.
The guys that are beating the prisoners actually run when we save the prisoner. The ones that thank us, are not part of the beating.
They're about as dumb as most protesters in the real world, so I applaud Sucker Punch for the realism here.
Protestor chants are pretty awful in real life too, so I'd say this earns the game some brownie points for realism =P
I think I saw a demo of realtime raytraced graphics last year during GDC or some other event. It was just a proof of concept, the image looked grainy (not enough samples) for a second every time the camera moved, but it sort of worked. I've even tried it myself with Luxrender using SLG, and it's pretty cool. We are…
It sure beats the usual pile that those "display purposes only" cases usually wind up in.
Yeeah, that's not real Global Illumatination, its more like shadow mapping with some softening of the edges with Bloom effect.
Doesn't look like global illumination to me. Just looks like direct lumination with some blurring around it.
Once after installation. It's Ubisoft, so you have to use uPlay, then log in, then it opens the game, you log in to verify your username, and it unlocks the game.
I think they removed that a while back; you only have to log in once. Of course, you still have to log in that first time... and the game is notorious for not letting people log in.
It is a really great game. I takes a bit to get into because it is more about production and resource chain management then it is city building. If you have problems I recommend a YouTube guide series by NanoSuitNinja. The first video is here:
