Why are they calling him William. That is clearly Geralt.
Too easy access to what he did not need and what he did need he cannot get, not in the states anyway.
Sorry, this is America, a wretched, failing empire. Healthcare, here, is a privilage not a right, so... mental health care is only for the wealthy. Gun ownership is the basis of True ‘Merican Culture, and no amount of sanity will ever change that.
Two things...
Yeah, that’s nice and all, but people had all that in the 20th century, too, and survived. In fact, people wanted their games longer.

True, but these cases are less about the consumers themselves having actual mental issues which cause the behavior and more about predatory sales/marketing practices - which, in all honesty, is nothing new. We’re simply starting to define a line where business needs to be constrained by law to avoid manipulative…
I enjoy video games a lot, but the ESA quote listed above sounds like textbook PR denial of a problem.
There are video games which are specifically designed to take advantage of addictive tendencies, often in ways which are profitable to the developer.
OG Black label discs are even better
Squall is the best characterization of a disillusioned teenager in all of video games, a medium which, at the time, was enjoyed mostly by disillusioned teenagers. He has a ton of talent, but doesn’t understand why he should even use it. He hates Seifer, not because he’s a bully, but because he tries so hard, because…
My favorite game in the franchise. A lot of the very best moments FF has ever had. Squall is the most nuanced protagonist they have ever had. Like wise Seifer for villain. I love how much you can play with the junction system, but having to draw magic - and long gf summons - are the two things that have hurt the game.…
For me, the peak of the franchise will always remain Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 7, and Final Fantasy 8. Imagined as a pyramid, all three form a gleaming capstone - with Final Fantasy 7 being the absolute pinnacle of the series - while the remaining installments create a solid foundation.
But it wins elections...
I mean, some of it I find amusing - women pretending they don’t understand Star Wars to make idiot fanboys mad, for instance.
Q: Can we move on
No.
I’m perfectly fine with the fact Finn, Rose and Poe fail. That’s not what (imo) makes the Casino Island scenes terrible.
Ackbar should have lived and been the one to stay behind and kamikaze the ship, saying something like “I’ve got you all trapped now”. OT legend and you kill him off-screen for a pointless misdirection twist? Laura Dern is a fine actress and all, but that whole mutiny subplot was ridiculous.
A couple years ago, I saw a comment on reddit from someone who was tired of people asking if they needed to play a previous game in a given series before playing the sequel. He or she sarcastically posed the question, “Do I need to play FIFA 15 in order to understand FIFA 16?”, which I thought was hilarious at the…
