I bounce back and forth between them. Both are amazing. Gwent’s biggest strength is its card art imo, since every card is designed like modern smartphones are - all screen display, no bezel. AND they all have animated versions. Easily the best looking CCG around right now. The biggest flaw with Gwent so far has always

Yep, I think this is valid criticism. I agree with all of it. Personally I still think it’s a good movie, and I wouldn’t be surprised if in hindsight most people think the same. But this is Star Wars. People didn’t want a good movie, they wanted a great movie, and when writers are complacent enough to think having

That, coupled with rando-hacker giving away the rebel’s stealth evacuation plan, which directly led to the deaths of not only the vast majority of the rebels but also the entirety of the red salt planet battle INCLUDING the death of Luke Skywalker... all so the two non-white characters would have something to do in

When the alternative is becoming a mobile game studio for Nexon... EA doesn’t seem so bad I guess.

Thank you so much for continuing to write articles of this quality. The book is indeed awesome, but articles like this are THE reason I keep visiting this site <3

Yep, this is a really important point to raise, especially in regards to game preservation. People are being born, turning 18, getting into games for the first time etc, every single day. There will be plenty of new Destiny 2 players over the next couple of years who get so invested in the game they’ll get curious

It’s also possible they’re using TLOU2 as a test-bed for a large open world setting, something they’ve been experimenting on with smaller areas in Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy to widespread praise. It does make a lot of sense to use an established IP to test new design concepts (new for Naughty Dog at least).

Pretty sure it was mentioned to point out why it didn’t work in Battlefield 1, and not why it did work in reality. Obviously there was a lot to gain from a truce that day in real life, but there was nothing to gain from it in the game, and nothing to lose by “cheating” and killing everyone.

Worth noting that HBO had approached Bethesda asking for a game like The Elder Scrolls set in Westeros. Bethesda turned it down in favour of continuing to develop Skyrim. In hindsight, a good choice for Bethesda, but makes you wonder if HBO is still trying to get a game of that magnitude developed.

He hasn’t played the game, he watched the trailers. And the trailer does nothing to convey that story of a single parent searching for his son, nor of the focus on an optional but incredibly robust non-violent playstyle the game introduces to Bethesda’s open world design through the Settlement system. So to be fair,

He stole my heart and became my favourite voice actor with his performance as Balthier. It’s the reason Fenris was in my party in DA2; the main reason the only CoD game I’ve replayed is Advanced Warfare (even his character is called Gideon!); and one of the main reasons I side with the Imperials in Skyrim =P

We took it through various iterations, originally thinking big, but settled on keeping it almost (there are a few new additions) identical to Oblivion’s layout and size for multiple reasons:

Sure, that’s a mature way to deal with childhood obesity. First you put words in the mouth of the guy who called you out originally, and now you’re silencing me for suggesting you were being too defensive?

Look at the kid. It’s not a “rare snack”. And most importantly that’s not even remotely what the OP was implying :- You can feed your kids the healthiest of main meals and breakfasts 7 days a week, but it’s still an unhealthy lifestyle if they’re lavished with junk food between meals. The kid is obese, so he’s not

It can’t work with large scale user mods. Modders come and go all the time, so support would fall entirely on Bethesda every time the base game is updated and breaks compatibility. Are they really up for that? And the majority of modders do this for fun, not for profit, so will refuse to charge anyway. This is

It won’t lead to any big mods. Modders work part time, in different amounts, often on and off again as time and motivation allows. How do you split income among hundreds of people like that?

It’s normal. I still remember all the begging for Oblivion 2 =P Rapper Dan Bull even made one of his videos asking for a new TES game with the lyrics “take me to Oblivion again”.

“mostly just talks about littering as “satire” of Taiwan’s public trash disposal infrastructure, which he finds lacking.”
