I’d like to hope so, but at least where Sony is concerned I’m not sure they will. They love re-releasing ports of older games separately on every single platform (home and portable) so you have to rebuy them every time. And since PSNow exists... I’m worried they’ll just add PS4 games to the PSNow repertoire once the

I mean, data also shows that not many PS4 players bought The Last Guardian, but man did we make a lot of noise every time it didn’t show up at an E3 =P

Visually? Because it’s a highly overhauled engine for the 64-bit era, and key modders like the SKSE/F4SE team, and Boris (of ENB fame), haven’t been able to hook everything they need yet. This is why Skyrim Special Edition doesn’t look as pretty as Oldrim yet (no ENB), and doesn’t have as many mods that completely

To me it’s the UI that puts me off most from getting into this game. Especially the text pop-ups at the top of the screen, the fonts used, and the nameplates. All seem to be directly inspired by pre-WoW MMOs and built for 720p displays with colossal fat colourful block text.

“I doubt people would really want to spend $799.99 for a console with a large SSD that has blazing fast loading times as opposed to a $449.99 console that takes a bit longer.”

Only in pre production. Seriously, Todd Howard and Pete Hines know people want it so badly they’ve gone out of their way on multiple occasions to flat out say TES 6 is a long way away, and is absolutely not the next game you’ll see from Todd’s team. He’s working on three projects right now, one is TES 6, two of them

It’s still a fact that revenue from hunting is dwarfed by revenue from ecotourism. Sure, they COULD co-exist, but why would anyone endorse that? Taking the lives of animals in the name of fun and minor profit margin increases? Fuck that. Humans already impose massive restrictions on wildlife through habitat

And the people who demand ivory, making the business of killing elephants profitable to the impoverished at all. Why can’t we place a demand on the hearts of human hunters instead?

I feel like environments were their chance to make this feel like something that couldn’t have been achieved through an expansion. That and space flight I suppose, but that’s definitely not happening. Environments might, and I’m hinging on those now to determine purchase.

I adore the books and read them before the films, so I get where you’re coming from because I felt the same reaction at first. What you have to appreciate is none of that takes away from the film, and the story it tells, still being of exceptional quality. It’s not quite the same story as the books, but it’s also not

Yeah, I guess they knew their strength came from the action and cinematography, and they leaned on Martin for the dialogue and politics. At least they’re happy to wrap it up soon and don’t plan on dragging it out for as long as possible.

Dialogue is almost identical in those two scenes. A huge amount of dialogue from Jackson’s films is straight from Tolkein. It’s the acting quality from legends like McKellen that elevates it. But if you’re quoting the dialogue as an issue then I get the feeling you’re the kind of guy who has opinions like this just to

To be fair, The Lord of the Rings also already existed as films before Peter Jackson got to work. Talent and financial backing is important to have ;)

I’m sure he’d LOVE to have something to do with it today! He just didn’t believe video games were anything special, nor that The Witcher as a game would even work. So when offered the choice between a one-off lump sum up front, or a % of all profits going forwards, he took the (then fairly small) lump sum and now

TV series is an amazing fit for the Witcher. I was getting really concerned about all the push for a film, when this world and its main characters were all originally designed to work around the short story format. It’s a big part of why The Witcher 3 captured that so damn well, and why its side quests were often the

Slow pacing is an issue? The majority of Game of Thrones is dialogue and deliberation, and it’s amazing for it. The combat punctuates things.

Yep, exactly. And since I play these games fairly law-friendly, hate murdering anyone, it’s all about adding weight to dragon and vampire attacks. It’s that children now become potential targets for any raids on towns and villages that makes this a powerful mod imo. I just fight harder to defend them, and feel the

No, it’s amazing! I know my way around Photoshop plenty well enough. Even been the designer for a small magazine for the last few years. But this is damn impressive for such a quick turnaround =P

So much attention to detail. Did you make this?

Sounds like she caught it early which is great news (or as great as news can get where cancer is concerned...) and means she’s highly likely to come out of this just fine if she has the right attitude going in. Definitely sounds like she’s a fighter, and she’ll only be stronger for this afterwards knowing she beat
