Guess it all depends...I have a tuned ‘13 Taurus SHO that I was commuting up and down I95 for the past 6 months with. While its not a “fast” car like Super Car fast, it moves nicely for its size and heft. It doesn’t really handle that well (then again what car at 4300+ lbs does), but it is sure as hell nice being able

Another thing to consider is rebates...when I bought my last car, I had to go through Ford Motor Credit for three months to get my $4500 rebate...I refinanced though State Farm after that and cut a year off my payments due to the lower interest rate I got for the same monthly payment with FMC.

The Ford GT90 concept never came to be anything that Ford released...the 2004-2006 GT was homage to the 1960's GT.

Its a concept car...its basically the 1993 Firebird styling amped up to an 11-12...same with the Camaro shown below.

The Mustang Mach III concept had the same shapes (amped up again) that where show on the 1995 Mustang.

With those huge radiator intakes on the sides of the car...how about a Rear engine Focus like the SHOgun? Maybe with a GT 3.5L ecoboost motor in it?

But cars aren’t computers and computers aren’t cars. Tech on cars don’t change as rapidly as it does on computers. People (for the most part) don’t get a new car every 2-3 years like they do with tech items. The average age of a car in the US is something like 7 years old or so.

Making a car isn’t like a semiconductor

I’m not a fan of SUV/CUV’s but I’m actually interested in the new Bronco....

Try comparing a equivalently priced Windows laptop to a MacBook Pro instead of some el cheapo laptop and your experience will be much better.

I had a 2002 SVT Focus that so far is the worst car I’ve ever owned.

Powerstroke, but up until recently, that was a third party engine that was a complete shitshow.

What doesn’t make any sense to me at least, is the 200 is based on the Fiat Compact platform and changing the hardpoints (especially where the passenger cell is) is normally a pretty costly thing to do...so wouldn’t other models like the Dart, Vaiggo and Giulietta would all share this shortcoming?

Seems like the sales numbers for FCA, um have been massaged a bit...

Lets see, Ford has been offering Turbos in full size pickups and large sedans since 2010...and for the most part they’ve held up pretty well...even with tuned ones.

Where is the bad “turbo” stories coming from? The last time Ford offered a Turbocharged car was about 30 years ago....cars are completely different from

Same here....not to mention its been tuned the past 40K miles or so ;)

Ford is better in the small and midsized market. But until they get Lincoln figured out and they are looking at Mustang and F-150 to bring the cash in.

The old BOF Explorer had 200HP V6 in a 4300lb or so package. When I drove my parents, it got along fine with that power...didn’t have issues accelerating or merging into traffic. Your everyday car doesn’t need to be able to do a 13-14 second 1/4 mile with a sub 7 second 0-60 time...but lots do.

I’m guessing most of

All this is a short wheel base Lambda platform that the original model was based off of. Its slotted better to compete with things the size of the Grand Cherokee and the like.

You’ll still see the LWB Lambda being sold...there is still demand for 3 row CUV that can actually fit everyone somewhat conformability for long

I use Sync/MFT to make calls on my iPhone and to switch to non-preset Sirius stations. It generally works ok for the most part. Ford just added an update for one touch Siri...which works intermittently, but handles diction of voice to text messages for me..which works ok also.

Using Voice to command the onboard

2. Ford Estrogen - small CUV aimed at women over 40. Features the strongest air conditioning system ever installed in a passenger vehicle.

You missed an important part to this...you didn’t mention Lincoln.
