What are you talking about? The MKZ is CD4, the Continental is extended/widened CD4 though Ford hasn’t confirmed it yet...its highly likely.

Actually the Taurus production is being limited because of the Explorer production. They sold 45K units in October 2014 and its down to 33k units this past October. The Explorer PIU is much more popular then the PI off the Taurus.

An F-250 Powerstroke costs about $130 an oil change from a quick search on Google. A 1/4 ton F-150 with an Ecoboost V6 (I know not a 100% apples to apples…
Diesel is made from the same feed stock, so it will go up as well.
How about figuring in other costs like additional maintenance costs, which cost quite bit more then gas powered vehicle?
