But with Jeep selling more Wranglers Ford’s entire SUV lineup, it might not be such a bad idea to reach back toward open-air off-roading on one model.

Typo. MKZ. Not MKC.

The first gen LS was priced well below its German competition at the time when it came out, and the price was raised as products where slotted under it.

Your missing the point....this car isn’t for you. Ford isn’t going to do what GM is trying to do with Caddy...chase the German makes by trying to make Caddy like BMW. FFS the MKC already outsells the ATS and CTS (or at least one of them). Its doing its own thing and attracting its buyers without spending billions upon

I wish this was around 15-20 years ago...my wife was diagnosed with Cervical cancer this time last year and had surgery to remove her cervix in January of this year. We were actually starting to plan to start a family in the spring (got married in May 2014), but that didn’t pan out because of that.

Hence the designation Joint Strike Fighter...I think that is where people get their panties into a bunch with this program. Its a attack aircraft, not a pure A2A aircraft. It might have been better off with a FA or even AF designation vs pure F designator.

The only reason the F-16 was a good fighter was it was made

We are talking about the same thing, but the MKZ is still CD4 and the Contential is most likely a derivative of the same platform. CD6 or D6 is still down the road a bit. And I’m sticking with the CD6 designation since its popped up on a couple of Ford’s engineers LinkedIn profiles.

That is just moronic joke the writer of the article made...its the Lincoln emblem

What are you talking about? The MKZ is CD4, the Continental is extended/widened CD4 though Ford hasn’t confirmed it yet...its highly likely.

It actually looks better in person....I like the new 2015 Mustang but fell in love with it in person...well the styling on it. Photos can hide or make things look odd

Actually the Taurus production is being limited because of the Explorer production. They sold 45K units in October 2014 and its down to 33k units this past October. The Explorer PIU is much more popular then the PI off the Taurus.

Um the Fusion is built in Flat Rock with the Mustang and upcoming continental. It's an overflow plant since Hermsillo can't make enough for both North and South America.

The real issue is using a 40 year old design...that would be like upgrading the WW2 era P-51 in 1990 (provided if jet engines didnt come out).

That truck got stolen in Canada years ago...he changed careers and now has an Escape hybrid.

there are plenty of people out there that don’t and getting rid of 13 quarts of oil (legally) at your local auto parts store from the change is just a PIA.

Hey, jackass...I spent 8 years of my life working around Diesel engines while in the Army and National Guard..so your just annoying me now.

Here is my point:

An F-250 Powerstroke costs about $130 an oil change from a quick search on Google. A 1/4 ton F-150 with an Ecoboost V6 (I know not a 100% apples to apples

Diesel is made from the same feed stock, so it will go up as well.

How about figuring in other costs like additional maintenance costs, which cost quite bit more then gas powered vehicle?

And which parts are these?
