UPS drivers are company employees and have benefits (and union membership I believe) and any accidents or tickets or general malfeasance would immediately point to UPS. Amazon uses subcontractors (at best) and gig workers and Amazon has almost zero responsibility and/or commitment to them so will feel free to throw

But are those Australian Ugga-Duggas, or American ones?

This country relies on the big-hearted nature of the citizenry to make up for the greedy fucking assholes that have bought our government.
Yes, this story is wonderful and indicative of the inherent good in so many sub-cultures. Yes, this story is also an absolute indictment of the country’s complete lack of anything

My wife, who is suffers from driving psychosis, fervently believes that the more syllables in your Starpukes order the huger and asshole you are. She also flys into paroxysms of rage in the Starpukes drive-thru if anyone in line before her pauses more than a nano-second in moving forward or if their time at either the

My work here is done!
Years ago in my office, we, for some reason, decided to have a contest to come up with a word combination that would really stick with you.  That was my effort and we all agreed it won.

For Texans:

If there ain’t no god, how’d they know to put them craters right where the meteors was gonna hit?

Here’s a mental image for you:
Bunny Ranch Dressing.

Nah.  This is the proper way to hack into a car.

Everything about that model Camaro is hideous from the design to the target market.
Burn it and the trailer it’s parked in front of.

The front end smacks of Ford Granada or possibly Fairmont Futura, enhanced by the oval grill emblem which obviously hints toward Ford.  The side profile from the beltline down screams “GM badge engineered products of the 80's” and the greenhouse says AMC.

I seem to remember some references in Heinlien but it’s been a very long time since I’ve read him so I could be wrong.  I tried reading Robinson’s series and it was just so ponderous I couldn’t make it through.

This isn’t a new idea.  Skin suits and breathing equipment rather than environment suits have been around in near-future hard science fiction for years.   The idea being that the soft-squidgy bits of the human would be wrapped in something to keep them from oozing out then covered with something to keep them from

In 2001 I moved from Denver to San Antonio for a job with the Army and wound up getting married and buying a house.
So that’s about 800miles.

Distrito Federal.  Think of it as the Mexican version of DC

If they’re going to do this sort of gimmicky crap, why not leave activation up to the race organizers?  Think of the hijinks that will ensue when at a random point of the race every car gets a 50hp kick in the shorts?  To really stimulate the videogame racer crowd, have it kick in for every car at a different time.

That’s some quality “old man shouting at clouds” automotive content there, Torch.  Keep it coming, man.

Size appropriate dalmatian:

Keep in mind that a CO monitor -inside the house- won’t do any good if you’re sitting with your family in the car inside the garage.  Also, putting a CO monitor IN the garage won’t do shit cause it’ll go off every time you pull the car in which means you’ll ignore it when it is actually signaling danger.

Gotta love the Chinese automotive industry.  The concept looks like they’re ripping off Lamborghini and the production looks like they’re riffing on a mid-engine 4th gen Camaro.
