I dub this article, “The Anti-Suckage List”. There is not one awful choice to been seen among all cars listed. My highly subjective opinion would put the 3000GT at the very bottom of the list, but even the bottom of this list is pretty damn good because I sure wouldn’t mind owning one.

Man, I love an interstellar mystery.. Pretty sweet.

I don’t think it makes for a good analogy. Horse carriages still needed a driver. Manufacturing of cars, back then, took more people. Today it takes less and less.

“a while” is a relative term. 10 or 20 years is still only a heart beat away in the history of humanity. Meanwhile, there are autonomous semi rigs already out there on test drives. It is 100% guaranteed to happen at some point.

I’m speculating here but I’m not sure there will be enough positions to offset. That is also skilled labor...

A lot of good and bad to go with this future IMO.

I think you’ll be able to let people drive to as long as their car can tell others that it is under manual control.

It is definitely mazda6-esque. This is especially true from the side profile. My very first reaction to that view was, “hey that’s really close to a Mazda6.”.

It brings a smile across my lips when I see that the Army’s inventory still includes a few Hueys..

Not a glowing endorsement? Google went from 48 disengagement in a one month period over 18000 miles to 11 in a one month period with 48000 miles.

I really think the EPA and CARB need to reconsider Musk’s proposal. Force VW to put that money into electric car development and production. Heck, tell them they have to build it in the US as well.

Meh.

I don’t hate it.

I was having a low battery issue last week. I ended up taking the Nest off its mount and charging it with a USB cable. An hour of that and it was working fine again....

I don’t like that you said it, but it cannot be denied.

Perhaps it’s because you have a narrow minded view of people that identify with each of those political parties.

No, be that guy. Because you’re right.

My wife hates it. The old Toyota Previa looks more like the old Microbus

My wife hates it. Fortunately that means I don’t have to buy one for her when/if (gargantuan if) they ever build and sell it.

I really like the idea, but that Black+Decker name kills it for me. Nothing but craptacular coming from them.
