The CEO has sway over bean counters. Also, Toyoda is staying as Chairman of the Board. IMO we’re going to see good things.

Why are you thinking that? The new CEO runs Lexus AND Gazoo Racing. He’s responsible for the more fun Toyotas.
I might disagree with Toyoda’s stance on EVs but there is no denying that Toyota’s overall product line has become MUCH better under his leadership. All of the GR cars are fantastic! The Camry isn’t so bland anymore, heck even the Prius has become a great looking car!
I love the CRX but that’s too much. I’d consider $5K for a nicer Gen 2 version. That was a fantastic car.
What Chen isn’t saying is that can get the R1T with the Explore package, quad motor, and 300+ range battery pack for $79500. In 2024, they ‘should’ be offering the dual motor version with a lower range battery (260miles) at $67500.
I was a UH1H crewchief in the Army. Anyone that moved, even slightly, in the direction of my tailrotor found my hands on them. Usually it was a pat on the shoulder with me redirecting them but I have full on bodyslammed a few soldiers, including one pissed off O6 that nearly dirtied my birds tailboom.
The CyberTruck is officially the Duke Nukem Forever of trucks.
You can tell that Doug is in love.
So whatcha think folks? Are we gonna see $50K ADMs on this bad boy? I bet we do...
I live in Colorado. I NEED AWD/4WD. I also need 3PMSF rated tires. My AWD Countryman doesn’t have those, so I don’t drive it in the mountains. My Jeep does. It performs admirably.
I’m not too worried about the Lightning. The rumors of fleet orders may be true, but they’ve got 160K pre orders as it is. They won’t be able to build them fast enough for at least two years. That’s A LOT of runway for them to get fleet owners on board. Tesla has something well over a Million pre-orders for the…
I don’t hate it, but I’ve already got a solid off road rig.
I wonder if the smaller sidewall, due to 20” wheels, was a contributing factor. Though, usually you’d think that would just result in popping a bead.
Yea, I’m guessing they were on Loveland Pass for that on road part.
I’ve watched and read a lot of reviews on this truck to the point that I ordered one this week. However, this is BY FAR the best review I’ve seen. I’ve been wanting someone that knows off-roading to give their take and David, you delivered in spades. Not just giving us some great opinions and some DEARLY NEEDED…
It looks like you were on Webster Pass, like many of the other bloggers had been. That’s just over 9 miles and takes about 2-3 hours. There are some parts I don’t recognize from picture (like the small rutted gully you drove through). So I’m guessing you did at least one other trail around Montezuma.
No.. next.
Crapbaskets..
Ford nailed the 2015 Mustang launch but that was developed under Mulally’s reign and launched under Mark Fields.
I’ve purchased an acre on a mountain in the Rockies. I’m still looking at construction methods but I’m seriously looking at an all steel building. The only real risk I’m looking at is from forest fires. I’ll certainly maintain some distance between my future home and trees but fire is the primary driver behind me…
