we posit it could also be 2019's fault.

I’m thinking it’s the hot hatch for someone who wants a hot hatch but doesn’t want the hot hatch stereotype.

The Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail reported that idling in a drive thru line (of course this was about Tim Hortons) for 10 minutes with a three-liter engine uses about .06 gallons of gas.

I haven’t had a mileage limit on a rental since... well, never. I’ve never had a mileage limit on a rental. Yes, they were a common thing once upon a time, and yes, probably still are for some markets/companies, but it is no longer the norm in the US.

Yes, but you’re overlooking that the $40-50k car you drive every single day uses a tiny fraction of the cost of fuel that an ICE car uses and requires zero oil changes or other traditional routine maintenance. You may spend more once per year, but you save every single other day.

No one is going to build the infrastructure until the demand for it is there. No one is going to buy an EV until the infrastructure is there. It makes sense that the EV’s come first as people will use them, just not for long range trips. Once a lot of people are charging them at home, then some people will supply a

Rent an ICE car for those few times per year when you’d exceed your EV’s range. The savings of driving an EV the rest of the year would likely more than pay for the rental.

I attended a small, rural, MN town’s annual festival this past weekend. Just to set the mood, the town’s population is 681... it is small. I was there because my girlfriend had a high school reunion to attend. Half of her class showed up, 14 attendees... it is smmmmalll town USA. Farming is a big thing there. Part of

Jesus Fucking Christ the embarrassment just never stops with this shit-weasel!

Can’t tell if you’re talking about Trump, or Kim...

This really has nothing to do with any of this, but... I recently discovered there is a road near me named John Silver Road Not Long John Silver Road, just John Silver Road. You see, the road is only about 100 ft long.

Yep, anyone who can tie their shoes can tie a good enough knot to hang themselves.

Ever try to stop a modern car with the engine off and no residual vacuum? Ever try to turn a modern car with the engine off? It is far from easy.

I’m really confused. If the R’s and the NRA were opposed to Red Flag Laws, we’d be 100% for them, right? I get that the R’s and the NRA likely want to be able to say “Look, we did something!” even though it isn’t much, but are we so opposed to them being able to do that that we’re willing to scrap a small step toward

you could at least figure out what fuse you have to yank in case of an emergency to cut off the fuel pump or ECU or something to get that engine to stop, and mark it obviously in your fuse box.

A kill switch on a car would kill the power steering and power brakes, making it difficult to bring to a safe stop. A motorcycle’s brakes and steering are much easier to manage with the engine off.

That’s not right!

And yet there are those that would argue in defense for his 2nd amendment rights... while claiming mass shootings are a mental health issue rather than a gun issue and to stop them we have to focus on the mentally ill...
