I give them very little slack. These aren’t fast food employees, they work in healthcare. An equivalent replacement job would be easy to find nearly anywhere in the country.

Yep. No one ever regrets wearing a helmet, plenty of people (or their loved ones) regret not wearing one. I grew up helmet-less and didn’t start wearing one until it was required for a mountain biking class in college. It just feels weird if I ever hop on a bike without one now.

I’d presume part of the issue with putting it to use is that they don’t necessarily know what it is (the exact gas mixture) and don’t necessarily have a steady supply of it.

The new ones do look pretty sharp, like a small Grand Cherokee. I’d wager that to the average joe, they think it IS a Grand Cherokee. Unlike the previous model, it looks like they actually gave a shit when they designed it.

My ex mother in law does that. I suppose lap only is better than nothing, but... She’s also one of those “never wore a bike helmet and survived” type people.

Since the introduction of the reminder, people have simply buckled the belt, then gotten into the car. 

You know, seat belts are for more than just front end collisions. Like if you’re bouncing down a trail, it’s a lot easier to drive if you stay in your seat. Or, you know, if you roll, staying in your seat would probably be good.

Trying to compete with Amazon. I’m guessing that probably isn’t going so well.

People will get the fuck out of the way of a guy on horseback. A guy on foot, or on a bicycle will not be able to get through a crowd to an incident as well. A horse runs faster than a guy on foot. A guy on a bicycle can move fast, but is using his muscles and may be tired and/or winded.
