Right, given a choice, I’m sure lots of people who live in the midwest would rather live in CA. However, we realize we can’t afford to live in CA. We’ve chosen food, jobs, and housing over 24-7-365 nice weather.

Mostly however, if you already live here, and you are a millennial, you are probably living paycheck to paycheck and are trapped. It cost quite a bit of money to move, between the out of pocket costs of even just renting a truck, and the lost wages of time between work.

Had colonial/American landowners been able to enslave white people more cheaply than through the African slave trade, they would have done so.

Yeah, uh, what the hell does he drive. Practically any vehicle with a transverse mounted V6 is going to have half of the plugs where they are nearly impossible to get to and likely need the intake plenum removed. That really kinda goes past the simple, routine maintenance that average car owner should do themselves.

Here I was just thinking... The cabin air filter, if it gets dirty, meh, your heat and ac don’t work as well. The engine air filter, if it gets dirty, your fuel economy suffers and it costs you money. I’d say change that engine air filter regularly and the cabin air filter isn’t such a big deal. Hell, 20 years ago…

The point I was trying to make is that it isn’t a poll of the general public, it’s a poll of the type of people who answer polls. I could be mistaken, but the people who would subject themselves to a poll probably have more in common than just the willingness to take a poll.

The smart move would’ve been to claim an errant “r” in “countries”. Easily blamable on autocorrect and a much sicker burn than ‘states’ as it would imply they’re no better than county level politicians.
