I remembering Donkey Kong 64 being a real slog to get through as well. I enjoyed both that one and Banjo, but I remember not finishing either because I just got exhausted after a while. Granted I was like 13 or so, but it looks like it’s a lot of the same here... for better or worse.

I only watched the first 4 episodes or so, and he really stood out as being pretty rough in the acting department. The writing/directing didn’t help much either. Maybe I should go back and give it another chance.

As a gay atheist who grew up in Texas and only had super conservative Christian friends, I have to say..... they were all pretty warm, loving, and approachable. Just because people are different and believe in different things doesn’t mean they’re bad!
