Jupiter Ascending was bad at sci-fi and bad at romance.
Jupiter Ascending was bad at sci-fi and bad at romance.
These people are gross. They’re the kind of people who find movie romances cute. Gross and stupid.
Did you pick up all the T-Rex figures in that one room?
I thought it was a cake at first. That would have been delicious.
Which white person would lie and claim that they are black, anyway? They would HAVE to be mentally ill! (Buckets...many, many buckets of sarcasm, in case someone did not detect it).
EXACTLY. The whole reason that classifying people into caucasian, negroid, mongoloid and australoid is obsolete since advances in genetics in the nineties is because these previously perceived ‘races’ are genetically all the same. How we perceive race these days is purely social.
That’s how I’ve been working out for the last 1.5 years. I cannot be arsed going to the gym before or after work. Lunchtime workouts are perfect for me because I never have and likely never will work out regularly at any other time.
Plz stop asking why he has a resting sadface. It’s the almost-but-not-really equivalent of Kristen Stewart’s WHY DOES SHE NEVER SMILE bullshit. WHY DOES HE ALWAYS LOOK LIKE HE’S GONNA CRY. That’s his face. Leave Britney Kit alone.
I’m sure she hated them but she was told to make up some explanation for PR. The reason her explanation sucks is because a good one does not exist.
The damn heels fucking get me on Castle every time. It was refreshing when they actually made a joke about Beckett’s always perfect hair and stiletto boots. She’s a good character so I’m really :/ about the shoes.
Phonebooks make me sad. Someone delivers them and then they just sit there...forever. In the cold, in the rain.
Yeah. The origin of the word ‘impotent’ and the main definition is ‘without power’ etc. and not ‘unable to sex things because erectile dysfunction’.
Gotcha. If no one ever pays the cost charged by hospitals, it seems a little unfair to charge her that figure.
How the fuck was the (partial) cost US$900,000 anyway? It’s astronomical. Insane. I swear hospitals just make up the numbers. Who has that kind of money and what costs that kind of money when giving birth?
I’m glad your sister is better. I think it’s unethical to make a money-making business out of sham practices but I’d be hopelessly naive to expect it to stop.
People who claim acupuncture or any other woo has cured them: there is always another explanation. Something that has no method of effect is not going to cure anything. Not on its own.
Hypodermic needles get blunt after a few pokes, you don’t want to reuse them much. I don’t know what acupuncture needles are like but they’re probably even thinner.
No. Plenty of studies have been done. At which point would you consider it unethical to continue to spend resources to study something that’s been conclusively shown not to work? https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/acupuncture-do…
Acupuncture does not *work* as its proponents claim. It has no effect greater than placebo. Studies have been done without needles and poking needles into ‘wrong’ places and the effects are indistinguishable. Acupuncture does not work. Don’t listen to anyone who says it can cure illnesses and allergies, that is stupid…
