One of my friends brought up what I thought was a great comparison a few days ago talking about the game:

funny how when he is under suspicion and not defending himself we see a HUGE article about it, then when he defends himself with evidence after having consulted lawyers, all we get is a paragraph. no bias there at all....

I’m probably like the people he is describing.  I buy most cross platform games on other platforms.   Not just because the Switch is likely to wind up with the worst version, but also because Nintendo’s online stuff is garbage.  It’s so much easier to get into a chat and play games with friends on the other systems.

Remember when things were fun? Like...people had fun, and did fun things, and we all laughed and said, ‘hey, that was fun’? Did I dream all that up? Or was there actually a fun time, before this time, which is decidedly un-fun?

True story: my husband’s phone once butt-posted a topless picture of me to his Instagram feed. I know that makes me sounds like a gullible fool, but it’s true. A combo of him having been looking at it while Instagram was also open, then not turning off his screen before pocketing his un-password-protected phone into

At this point, probably nothing. Now that I have my own house, I have a 65" 4K TV with more than decent surround sound, Blu-Ray, and Roku. I can just wait to see any movie in the comfort of my own home with cheap food/booze, and my dog laying on my lap.

I’ve been to two movies in the last week. First, my wife’s boss

Kid free viewings don’t solve anything. Young adults are constantly on their phones and even if you go to a movie with nothing but old people it doesn’t help. We saw Darkest Hour over the weekend and I don’t think anybody in the theater was under 50. People were constantly asking each other “what did he just say?” and

It took me one year to get to max level 75 (also leveling other jobs at the same time.) Later on, it took me about three years to get my Red Mage relic hat. Some of the best years of my gaming life.

And this part:

I’d love that so much. FFXIV is fun, but waaaaaay too easy.

One of the top rated reviews said the developer changed publishers because the original one took all their money and invested in non-game related stuff. So this was the original guys moving to a new publisher so they could release updates and improvements because apparently they could not with the current release on

Sees the photo, reads the headline, thinks, “Sweet! Great way to start my Sunday morn. Sit back with my cup of coffee and watch a flat 6 air cooled Porsche motor being disassembled in hi-def...” 5 seconds into video: “JEEZUS! ...why did they have to ruin it with that f***ing music???!!”

Personally, my biggest upset was a few missions earlier.

Heavensward is amazing, the areas are amazing, it’s ALL AMAZING.

Thanks a lot :)

Minecraft does have a huge budget now (or at least it should given how much it made) and yet it still feels like it was only ever on the cusp of what it *could* be.

He said “core” minecraft. I believe that means mining and crafting.

I know exactly what you mean. I eventually burnt out on minecraft and moved on to Kerbal Space Program and now the exact same thing is happening to it. So much potential but the devs are bailing on the core game and just telling people to use mods, but most mods are not really balanced and now everyone is playing a
