You've got to be kidding me.

"Heyyyy, ocean!"

And now all I can picture is The Cumberbatch slithering around being lizard-y. Which is making me crack up while I should be working instead.

Note to self: self, don't drink black tea late at night. You will be WIDE AWAKE at 10 pm when you have to be up for work in like 5 hours.

Wait, someone just posted about this movie in last night's open thread...or was that you? Either way, my reaction to his role in that was "eeewwww...." followed by covering my ears and going "lalalala, I'm going to pretend he wasn't in that movie and hence will not watch it..."

Thanks! :-) I hadn't thought about Lush...can't hurt to try one more thing!

OMG you guys, my skin is freaking out and it's driving me insane. I have tried EVERYTHING - astringents, toners, exfoliants, masks, a zillion moisturizers...there's only so much makeup I can use to cover this shit up! I'm pretty sure my adrenals are screwed up from stress. I'm tempted to go to a dermatologist and

Hooray, another Sherlockian! Isn't it great? The second season is even better. I just started reading the books and his portrayal of Sherlock is just spot-on.

I just used Garnier recently for the first time - I was having it highlighted professionally and got sick of the cost and upkeep - and really liked it. I wasn't sure whether I had applied it evenly enough but it worked really well.

Terrified!Sherlock is pretty much my exact expression when I realized earlier today how much I have to get done in the next two weeks.

OMG me too. I'm putting a lecture together and if I have to write one more thing about the pituitary gland I might actually scream.

That gif made me cry with laughter. Oh Tennant, how I love thee.

Oh my God, "The Last Enemy", I just spent 5 and a half hours of my life watching you and then you give me THAT ending? How could you do that to me? I went from "ooh, this is interesting" to "Goddamnit, why?!"

Alright, this convinces me I need to catch up on Downton.

HAHAHA! Well played. :)

So Potential New Boy is looking like he has...well, potential. He actually called me when he said he would, and it's a little sad that I'm shocked by that. I hope to God the first date goes well and that I don't screw this up.

Matt Smith (because he's adorkable and funny, and a hilariously bad dancer like me and we could hang out and geek out over stuff) and Benedict Cumberbatch (who, according to some interviews I've read, is extremely funny and has excellent taste in music. We could just talk about music and say silly things in stupid

I'm so sorry you're going through this, I know how scary it can be. You're doing the right thing. Even if she has to stay there longer, her safety and yours is all that matters. You can sort everything else out later. Most people going though this will refuse help and say they're fine, so as hard as it is, you pretty

Yes, it sounds like she's depressed and psychotic symptoms like this can come out of nowhere. I know it sounds unlikely but I've seen it happen. Definitely go back to the ER and insist that she be looked at by a neurologist and/or psychiatrist. You will probably have to wait a long time but describe her symptoms

I would air on the side of caution and go the ER to be on the safe side. I'm not a doctor but I have plenty of experience with herniated discs, and the numbness sounds like you could possibly have something called cauda equina syndrome, which is just a fancy name for compression of the nerves controlling your bladder
