I pretty much took an instant dislike to Amy, so I'm kind of ok with her leaving...but I too was hoping for a guy as the next companion. (What can I say, Sherlock has kind of ruined me for other shows and I love a good bromance.)

So apparently standing up for myself and demanding that I not be talked to like a four-year-old and not have someone else's misery taken out on me means I "have some chutzpah now." I like to call it "having some self-respect", but whatevs.

I like Fado Irish Pub, on W Grand. Fish & chips + Guiness = win. Plus the place looks pretty cool too. Also try The Gage, on Michigan Avenue (British gastropub-type place - a little on the pricier side, but the food is really, really good.)
