Unfortunately thanks to the way the stock market works, Tesla may never go under because you’ll always have those who choose to ignore the facts and focus on a made up narrative who will continue to buy TSLA at any price. This “market cap” is what will keep the company alive even if they never make a penny, as long as

I’ve got an E24 that spends enough time on my lift I think it technically qualifies as art.

Maybe don’t eat Elon, just in case the crazy is catching.

Successful? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Haha. Ha. Ha. heh. ha. ugggghhhhhh.

No. The company is deadman walking at this point. They have way to much debt. It would cost too much money to fix their production problems and they still have a stupid business model with direct sales. Their DS model takes all the profitable parts of a dealership and gets rid of them while keeping the least

Sort of “Telsa Remains Public, Elon Musk Does Not”

Musk: “[Going private was] even more time-consuming and distracting than initially anticipated”

I don’t find that very appealing.

I’m going to go kiss my son now and be thankful.  God bless you kid.

I’m an unemotional SOB that can detach myself from anything to do with feelings but this article made me want to cry.

It’ll go the same way it did every other quarter; very poorly. The market will get excited because Elon will promise profits in the subsequent quarter.

You mean the same guy that markets to the people who will never invest into the company or purchase the products while simultaneously ignoring the people who do invest into the company or buy the products?

Would be a fun track day toy but you’d have to buy two. One for the first half of the day, and another to jump in for the second session.

I’ve been considering turning my barley running F4 into an electric racer, but my budget is orders of magnitude lower than this. A crashed Smart or Fiat 500 EV would be my ideal starting point.

FYI... You need to buy two.

Counter-point: I live in New York City. I drive a Mustang GT. Roads get plowed and salted here multiple times per hour during snowstorms. My winter tires are an absolute life-saver. Putting aside the regular huge advantages in stopping distance and cornering, there are a couple of situations where all-seasons just do

No...because...anyone who bought stock before the tweet are dancing in the streets. The value of TSLA went from $300.84 on August first to $379.57 on August 7th immediatley following Musks statement that funding had “been secured” to take TSLA private at $420/share.

  1. Mr Musk says something stupid on Twitter

He bought on the premise that Musk was telling the truth at the time. Which we now know he wasn’t. After he couldn’t prove he had financing, stock sunk.

It’s nicknamed Whitefolks Bay for a reason
