4.7? You mean 4.6

My Dad has had three, and he's absolutely loved them. A Tahoe when you want it, a pickup truck when you need it. The sealed bed was great for transporting things that shouldn't get wet, and when you needed more cargo space, you just had to open the mid-gate to keep things going. Just, uh, hope no one had to ride in

I think it's easy to mistake an A4 for an A6 for an A8 for an A3 for an A5 for an A7.

I have one! I have a '94 Thunderbird SC. 1 of 750 made with the 5-speed. It really is a fantastic car for the time. One of the coolest obscure cars I've owned, and I've had my share. As stated, the suspension is two-mode and can either be made to change on the fly to changing driving conditions, or set into

i will nominate the 89-94 thunderbird SC. it had a great platform and a strong supercharged v6, 5speed, two mode sport suspension, etc. just did not sell enough of them. and they are mostly forgotten. they have their fair share of ford problems though. but always wanted one.

If you're in the US, you'll have to wait one more year...

Now playing

I'd be curious to see what this guy could do with an AX GT :)

If you're considering a car that comes in sedan and hatch form, get the hatch. It will be much more practical, and much better looking than its dopey sedan counterpart.

AWD should remain optional for cars like this. The extra two driven wheels cause extra build cost, fuel consumption and complexity while offering benefits many people couldn't care less about.

R u avn a giggle m8? Ill kick yer fookin arse I swear by me mum.

Not exactly a sports coupe, but Lincoln Mark VIII, especially in LSC form. Actually, personal luxury coupes in general need to come back. The '90s was the swansong of the genre, and it produced a few good ones.

Well, not exactly a sporty coupe but the LSC got "Sports" in its name so it does count right?

I think Lincoln needs another one of these.

Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe

They've not had a good batshit model available for a while. BRZ is almost normal.

The Ford Probe GT, Ford has all the right components AWD Fusion Chassis, Fun Eco-boost engines, manual transmissions. It will never get built because it will cannibalize base model Mustang sales, but for it's time it was a very useful coupe with decent performance.

BMW 8 series of course

Although not a huge fan of Japanese steel at all, the *hardtop* Lexus SC would have to be my contender. It lived almost exclusively in the 90's and was a competent sporty coupe. And dead reliable

I'll take a Ford Thunderbird, based on the new Mustang platform, please.
