This. Beautiful car, unfortunately out of the mind of most. The first model years of these are getting pretty cheap now...

But not in production anymore. Shame.
6-series Gran Coupe is my choice as well. Atleast for cars in production. Brilliant looking vehicle and the reason I am glad that there is something like a 4-soor coupe segment.
But there is no such thing as an 845i. You can get a V8 840i or V12 850i in different trim levels, thats it.
Nah, your car should be fine as long as you didn't hire these guys:
No, if you buy a W140, you buy the 500. Plenty of power, great sound and less of a pita to maintain. I highly doubt you'll get much more satisfaction out if it because of 4 additional cylinders.

China blue with blue interior is a rare color combo for the Mark VIII.
E39 wins again.
Definitely NP! I love all last gen GM B/D-bodies and this is a fair price for an Impala SS in this condition. Also 6-speed manual.
There are in the Netherlands and Germany.
1,199$ is not several thousand, apart from that you usually don't replace the complete system if only one of the airbags (rear ones are like 99$ from AAS,) or solenoids (about 25$) is leaking, which is usually the case. Considering that almost every 20 year old vehicles will need new shocks and springs anyway, and…
NP, but only because I have one.
No idea where you got those numbers from, but they are very wrong.
No worries, I feel your pain. Fantastic cars, worthy of this list.
This!
Pieces of wood to hold up the window? That's exactly what I've found in my E39 after taking the driver side rear door panel off! Must be well known fix for broken window lifters in ghetto hoopties, a tradition passed on only by the most experienced of botching artists.
Looks almost identical to mine, very pretty cars indeed.
The Fleetwood is a D-body tho.
You could live in a Fleetwood if you wanted to.
