Oh yeah, while the engine is somewhat identical, the drivetrain layout is different and apart from details, the Mark VIII and this Continental have not much in common. The Continental's engine is detuned as well (I think it had 260hp in this case).

If you are saying sedan, do you mean the Continental 4-door (which is fwd and based on a stretched Taurus platform) or the Mark VIII Coupe? If you can get a Mark VIII in nice condition for a reasonable price (they are all reasonably priced by now), theres hardly more bang for you buck than in one of these (not just…
They do, I think it was at speeds around 50mph, the car would lower itself to improve its drag coefficient. Pretty awesome tech, nothing too revolutionary, but awesome nevertheless.
Well, its not exactly the Cobra (which came later) engine, there are plenty of internals that are different, however the Mark VIII was the first vehicle to use Ford's brand new all aluminium DOHC 4.6 V8 back in late '92. It certainly wasn't what I'd call slow.
Aaawww yeeaah. As a proud Mark VIII owner, I appreciate seeing this on the front page. These cars are incredibly under-rated.

On the other hand its still a 15 year old Maserati at the end of the day, which aren't exactly the pinnacle of reliability (somewhat understandable) or build quality. Interiors seem to look worn…
They ruined the 3200GT with the US-spec taillights and released it as 4200. They are about the same price as the 996 Carrera and while I'd really like to have one, the 996 would be the waaay more sensible choice.

I can say this to myself over and over. I can tell myself how happy it makes me to not have its drains on my time and money.
I've seen a dude on facebook born in 1995 yesterday, he had his baby in his arms. I was devastated.
I turned 25 last month, I might as well end myself now.
It's easy to make fun of this bulbous Jolly Rancher now, but I bet it blew people's Backstreet Boys-loving minds a decade ago.
This video is another proof that the Rally Fighter is awesome and Doug should get one as his next car.
