I don’ t even know if “discount Guardians” is even a valid term though. What does that even mean? The jokes are cheesy? Like in Guardians? I don’t see the distinction other than Guardians being the same exact style of movie but it’s already popular.

Helping people stock shelves, i.e. finding it and putting it out for them, is not “forcing” anyone to do anything. It is the exact opposite, i.e. doing their work for them so they aren’t compelled to do so because of their job.

Why? This and Ascension were just random side projects. They are meant to be different and experimental. I’m a diehard SH fan but neither of these have moved the needle in either direction because they shouldn't. 

I get my hopes up for DQB3 every time Squenix remembers that DQB2's Steam page can be used to advertise literally anything. lol

Agreed. Whatever shortsighted takes people have about IP or anecdotal structures of canon from other situations, pale in comparison to two simple facts: Sakaguchi isn’t part of this game, and the story addresses fundamentally different themes.

An IP can have as many “canon” versions of the story as the creator is willing to write. “Canon” simply means that this is the creator’s intent, not the product of fanfiction.

Seriously. I watched the clip and thought, “Huh, Seth seems pretty chill and clearly enjoys making himself laugh. I’d get a drink with that guy” (though no idea if he’s sober now). Why is the article randomly negative toward MacFarlane? His comedy isn't my style and I'm not a fan of anything he's done (except the first Ted), but he's pretty successful and seems like an okay guy. He also has a really good singing voice hahaha
