I say give it a shot. I went in with low expectations given all the buzz, but am thoroughly enjoying playing as a Red Hood main.

Personally disagree. I expected a “meh” based on everything going around, but am having a blast with it.
I commented on this & agree. I think the biggest issue is fans of Arkham going into this with expectations of it feeling like Arkham when it’s clearly been stated it has nothing to do with it, both in story & in mechanic.
The biggest challenge this game has, and it’s truly a testament to everything Rocksteady created, is that it will forever live in a shadow the Arkham games created. Perhaps it’s because of the aesthetic so closely mirroring those entries, but it initially feels like an extension of the universe when it’s entirely its…
As I understood it, Sony never relinquished IP rights on Demon’s Souls, only international publishing rights. It was always theirs, they simply didn’t add it to their global portfolio when it initially released on PS3. Same is true for Bloodborne, the IP is theirs.
Yeah, I’m about even with your sentiment here. I rather enjoyed it, but I was always going in knowing that Saints Row is irreverent, and this one has one of the series all-time best mission strings.
Neither did the first PSVR. Everything starts somewhere, and while I agree it’s not great to think of missed experiences, though I’m not sure how many are wanting to buy games for tech that was made nearly 6 years ago if there isn’t stable approach to making these games compatible with a fundamentally different piece…
Nagoshi’s comments for those who don’t want to C/P...
“To be honest, we [Japan] were beaten,” he replied with a chuckle. “Yeah, of course, we’re losing. Honestly, I think that’s a game that should be made in Japan.”
Alright, fine, I’ll buy it! Do you get some kind of compensation for all of this?
Look, I love my discs as well, but devil’s advocate for a moment. what’s the solve?
Wind Waker is, to this day, my favorite Zelda game. The Zelda GOAT! It’s one of, if not the most emotive versions of Link, and the story is incredibly endearing. He’s not just some chosen hero, he’s a brother trying to rescue his sister. It’s so charming, and yet, becomes one best adventures in the series, with an…
So, Square said “Next Winter” which is Winter 2022, and the period of 12/21/22 - 3/20/23. Winter 2023 wouldn’t be until end of 2023/early 2024.
What if...and this is a longshot, the person in the bacta tank is a rebooted iteration of Galen Marek, as an Inquisitor (and the who we’re seeing fight Cal in this trailer)?
But is it cursed?
Grew up with many of these franchise characters and I’m honestly surprised by how irritated people are by this. Who cares? It’s a video game, and it does nothing to damage my sentiment of the original source material. Perhaps it will be fun, perhaps it will subvert the already middling expectations, but dang are you…
Yet the writing in Wonderlands is ace. If Sam Maggs is on the writing team for TFtB2, I have the utmost confidence in it delivering a wonderful story.
You can thank Skylanders for that. Skylanders toys flooded the market with each iteration in an identity crisis with each release. It’s a T2L game, now it’s a T2L game with GIANTS, next up, RACING, then crystals to power up your whomever it is. It was utterly confusing for any family to look at this, let alone buy the…
Once you get into end-game Chaos Chamber, and your redemption at the end of the run starts popping Legendaries that are worthless, it becomes less magical.
Yeah, you get that one...and then every Legendary afterwards is yawn-worthy. Nothing special. Now I have so much money from selling them, and vending machines can’t compete.
We need a bow on Sly’s last adventure. Leaving it there is absolutely destroying me.
