I do, when I bother to have the radio on at all.

If they’re moving into already-blue areas, it doesn’t change much, unfortunately.
“FDS” is an unfortunate acronym. Also, the [sic] is unnecessary; “judgement” is a valid alternative spelling.
It’s Texas, where the judicial system produced this fine specimen:
Running over bicyclists in trucks in Texas, even when the cyclist dies, isn’t really prosecuted all that much. There was a case a couple years back where someone in a work truck doing like 75 in a 50 was playing with his phone and literally steamrollered a cyclist on the shoulder. No murder charges, no manslaughter…
Had an ‘81 a while ago. Never gave me any problems, really liked the styling. I would buy and DD this thing without a second thought... if the ask were around $6k. Maybe 8, but that’s a real-stretch 8, and figures in a Nostalgia Premium that’s higher than what I personally have.
For the credit score, one quick way to get a nice early boost is to add the kid to their oldest-account card as an authorized user and shred the new card when it arrives. “Age of oldest account” matters, and being an authorized user still counts for that to the bureaus.
Novas themselves aren’t rare, but this one’s a Concours, which is a specific “luxury” trim level. (Whether or not a malaise-era wheezing shitbox is deserving of the red-carpet treatment is another discussion.)
The only thing I can think of is damn it must be hard to do dance moves like that with everything just kind of out there and not, like, strapped down or secured or anything. Skills and talent indeed.
I believe in science. I believe in the science of vaccination.
“If you want to know what another driver is going to do, don’t look at their face, look at their front wheels.”
The kid may well have been totally on board with this, for what it’s worth. Fifth-graders raised in religious-nut households have a real strong delta on being solidly indoctrinated by then.
Better, in a way, because nobody died here.
The front end looks like what you’d get if you started morphing a ‘92 Camaro’s snout into a ‘93 Camaro’s then stopped it halfway.
A slingshot? A SLINGSHOT, MY NIGGA??
They’re not tired of his lies. They’d be happy to continue sowing the seeds of mistruths as long as it didn’t cost them more than it made them. Before, the ledger came in overwhelmingly on the positive side. Now it’s running on the negative side, so it’s time to jettison that asset that’s become a liability.
They did a really good job with the back window; normally when we see sawed-off sedan conversions, the back window and the section behind the doors looks janky as hell. The angles in the bed are kind of off-putting, but on the whole this is one of the cleaner ones.
A “meh” car is one you don’t see even when you know what it is and you’re looking right at it. A “meh” vehicle doesn’t even register. You don’t think about it at all. Unremarkable in every sense.
I mean, like her or not, she has actually made a name for herself
outsidebecause of who her father is.
Glad I scrolled down first, because this is almost exactly my list. 2007 on the Caliber, but ‘89 on the Hyundai, absolutely.
