Yea, that was the first thing that popped into my head. I'm always looking at the flaws of a product. Does that me i'm a water half empty kind of a person? I mean as long as you watch that pot/pan making sure it doesn't flow over with whatever your cooking it shouldn't be too hard to wipe clean.

Are the shapes of the fins translated to the inside of the pan? If so, the extra difficulty in cleaning and scraping out trapped noodles and bits of egg would negate the increased efficiency. Otherwise, very cool.

NO! For so many reasons. If those fins are duplicated on the interior of the pan then it is a bitch to clean. If they are not, then you are creating hot spots. Also, anybody who has watched a single cooking show knows that you just don't set your fire to be wider than your pan for this exact reason.
