NASA Blew up a LOT of rockets before they had one that worked. Like a LOT!!! There are a lot of movies about it.

I think there are very very few rockets that haven’t blown up or failed.

I have one. Bought it many years ago and have a lot of happy miles on it. The bike is pretty great. Convenience is 2nd to none. The engine... sounds like a riding mower. Power is bleh. All of the lumpiness of a V-Twin, none of the torque.

If this thing had the sweet, smooth 4 cylinder out of a 919 it would be perfect.

I find it interesting that people keep talking about “Oil Subsidies” as some evil intent when it is just typical corporate tax deductions that every other industry also has.

Literally nothing special about the deductions they use to offset losses and costs.

In case anyone is wondering what they really are:

200 Lbs of motor in the rear is not much. The full gas tank weighs about 80. SO rip that out. When you figure in the fuel pumps, filler and assorted crap i bet you are pretty close to 100 lbs.

Now take the motor, that weighs about 300 lbs. Thats a lot of batteries....

I bet you can get the same weight with a MUCH…

My JL Wrangler with non-LED headlights is just plain bright. I get flashed every 2-5 minutes when i am driving down 2 lanes at night.
