So they only have one writer? Pretty sure they have a buttload of them. More importantly, the cars they have at the Dream Cruise are actually attainable vehicles. The stuff at Pebble Beach is pretty much the super rich.

Some pretty amazing cars in Detroit.

The only coverage of the most Jalopnik event of the year is that the dude from Papa John’s car got stolen... What is this world coming to?

I don’t know. My WRX clutch has 310,000 miles on it and still going strong. I keep thinking I need to replace it, but it just keeps going! I am wondering if i will ever need to.

Funniest one in the current batch i watched was Steve Harvey. That dude is funny.

Why does the government get that money? They should be forced to distribute that money to the people that bought the product. Government shouldn’t get a penny of it.

No I am saying that the money collected should be required to go to the consumer that purchased the vehicle! Why the hell does the government get that money? To me all this does is expand the corruption of the government.

I buy a car that has a major defect, the government fines them a billion dollars, and I get to

I think this government punishing businesses thing is just plain wrong. They are just shaking down these companies for billions and it doesn’t do anything for the people that bought these cars.

The only way this would be ok is if every penny they fine them goes to the people that bought those cars. Otherwise it is

Don’t give up, it gets better. I was thinking the same thing, now I am digging into it a little more and it is picking up.

Yeah I have done struts about every 100k. I had one of the original rears lock up on me and it has been about every 100k since then. I just get oem replacements. I used to think I wanted to do upgrades then realized that it just isn’t worth messing with it.

Original clutch, never touched the transmission or engine besides oil changes, a leaking water pump, did the coil packs at 150k, alternator at 100k, brakes, shocks, tires. Typical wear items and stuff.

In the 90’s I had a 1990 Talon TSi. Drove that thing for 5 years and loved every minute of it. Greatest car I ever owned until I bought my 2003 WRX.. now that is the greatest car I ever owned. 300k on it and still awesome.

I think the older Talons are way better than the newer ones.

You guys realize that a P-51 is currently worth about $2,000,000 right now right? A complete P-51 in totally roached out condition is worth over a million. This one just needs to get cleaned up. I am betting $1.5 million.

How about this one? Once a month (or more) one of these hits the road from California to Florida.

SpaceX Falcon 9.

My point was that Chicago gets a LOT of snow. Judging by how Detroit does their roads and side streets you need some traction to get around. My WRX and Liberty do just fine. After my last 2wd car got stuck in my 200 foot driveway for the 10th time, I vowed I would never buy a 2wd car again.

Sorry Eddie.

I’ll just leave this little reminder of the winter of 2012...

I would love to see a comparo of the Renegade, the Kia Soul and maybe a few others. I am guessing that Car and Driver is working on one right now.

Either way, as a Michigan resident, I would never buy a Jeep without 4wd.

They are seriously pushing this movie. I really hope it doesn’t suck. Find out this weekend :)

I am not sure the Icon vehicles are worth 85K. They are cool, but that is a lot of money for a car that doesn’t say Ferrari.

Everyone knows that the Chain is way better than the kick for Road Rash...
